Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase a flow amount in the flow line of a subvalve body of the steam valve device, equipped with a main valve body and the subvalve body, for a steam turbine, by forming the bottom part of a steam valve chamber in the subvalve body to trapezoid shape. CONSTITUTION:A main valve body 21 is adapted to a valve seat 23 forming a valve hole 22, and a subvalve body 24 is fitted to the inside of the main valve body. A sectionally trapezoid part 25a is formed in the lower part of a steam valve chamber 25 in the subvalve body 24. When the subvalve body 24 is operated, steam flows into the chamber from a through hole 26 to pass through a flow line 28 from the trapezoid part 25a, and is jetted directly to the valve hole 22. In this way, the main valve body 21 can be formed to thin thickness, then the steam valve chamber 25 and the flow line 28 can be enlarged to increase a flow amount.
