Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively perform the drainage of water in an air tank and the feeding of air to a pressure tank from the air tank by arranging a resistant body in an inflow path for the pumped-up water to the pressure tank and utilizing a negative or a positive pressure which is generated on the downstream side of the resistant body, in water pumping or in the stop of pumping.
CONSTITUTION: When a pump 2 is operated, and pumped-up water flows in an inflow pipe 7, a negative pressure is generated on the downstream side 11a of a resistant body 11 arranged in said flow path. Then, the water in an air tank 12, with the pumped-up water which flows in the inflow pipe 7 through a drainage pipe 14, is supplied into a pressure tank 1. At the same time, air flows into the air tank 12 lowers, and a float valve 13 is closed, drainage operation completes. Next, when the pump 2 stops, a positive pressure is recovered on the downstream side 11a of the resistant body 11, and the water in the inflow pipe 7 or in the pressur tank 1 flows into the air tank 12 through the drainage pipe 14, and the air in the air tank 12 is supplied to the pressure tank 1
