Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of an evaporator by accurate outflow of liquid alone from an liquid outlet tube and air alone from an air outlet tube with needle valves provided above and below a float.
CONSTITUTION: When a liquid level is low, a float 18 is positioned at the lower limit, where a needle valve 19 closes a liquid outlet tube 16 while a needle valve 20 opens an air outlet tube 17. Air flows out of the air outlet tube but no liquid 13 does. When the liquid level is high, the liquid 13 flows out of the liquid outlet tube 16 but no air 15 does. Therefore, it is possible to let the liquid alone flow out of the liquid outlet tube 16 and the air along out of the air outlet tube 17 thereby improving the efficiency of the evaporator irrevant to the conditions on the inlet and outlet sides.
