Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a flashing action from appearing in a drain discharge pipe by constituting a drain discharge line such that a cooling means is provided intermediately of the drain discharge pipe from a drain tank to cool the saturated drain with cooling water poured into the drain discharge pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A cooling water inlet pipe 9 having a cooling water inlet regulator valve 10 is connected to a drain discharge pipe 6 between a drain tank 4 and a flow regulator valve 7. Thus, cooling water is poured from the cooling water inlet pipe 9 into the drain discharge pipe 6 just below the drain tank 4. The amount of poured cooling water is controlled by the cooling water inlet regulator valve 10. The drain in the drain discharge pipe 6 into which the cooling water is thus poured is brought out of the saturated condition so that a little pressure reduction will not cause a flashing action to appear in the drain discharge pipe.
