Abstract

Brackets.-Relates to telescopic brackets for curtain-rods &c. of the kind described in Specification 23023/14, such brackets comprising a split tubular socket c adapted to be secured to a wall or the like and carrying an adjustable shank a having a rod-seating b at its outer end. According to the invention, the outer end of the socket is tapered and screw-threaded, and carries a nut e by means of which the socket may be tightened around the shank a. The tubular socket may be secured to a separate base-plate, instead of being made with integral lugs c<1>, as shown in Fig. 1.
