Abstract

150,955. Harper, J. April 13, 1920 Addition to 120,328. Fixing by chuck-grip sockets.-A handle as described in the parent Specification, has the grips 4 extended inwardly as at 4a and tapered in the opposite direction to the taper of the outer part engaged by the internally coned sleeve 3 which screws into the ferrule 2. The extensions 4<a> engage a conical recess 1<a> in the handle 1 and an annular diaphragm or washer 5 of metal &c., Fig. 1. In the modification shown in Fig. 2, a flange 5 on the ferrule 2 is substituted for the diaphragm shown in Fig. 1.
