589,907. Broom handle fixings. LOGAN, W. A. April 13, 1944, No. 6839. [Class 61 (i)] A handle &c. is secured in a socket hole in a broom head &c. by a split spring steel socket 1, the upper end of which grips the end of the handle 7 and the lower end the inside of the broom head socket. The taper &c. formed lower end 5 facilitates entry in the socket hole and the central groove 2 forms a stop for the end of the handle.
