[Class 83 (iii)] A self-centring lathe chuck is provided with a ring 61 which is adjustable radially of the lathe spindle by means of set bolts 8, the ring 6<SP>1</SP> forming part of a plate 6 which is centred with respect to the driving plate 5 by means of a flange 5a and groove 6a, the driving plate 5, plate 6, and chuck casing 1 being secured together by bolts 9.
