[Also in Groups XXII and XXV] A shaft 15 is coupled to a socket on the end of a shaft 8 by a sleeve 10 of elastic-syntheticresin having a flange 12 at one end. The sleeve has a parallel-bore 11 engaging shaft 15, and a coned exterior engaging the conical bore of the socket. A nut 13 is screwed along the exterior of the socket to move the sleeve to grip the socket and shaft 15.
