632,049. Pipe joints. NAPIER & SON, Ltd., D., and MARCELL, R. C. Jan. 21, 1948, No. 1840. [Class 99(i)] In a pipe joint, particularly for jet propulsion plant, a flange 12 on one pipe is freely slidable in a cylindrical socket part 14 of the other pipe which also has a groove 15 for a spring ring 16 to retain the flange 12. The ring has a pin 17 at each end to facilitate its insertion and removal.
