[Class 39 (i).] The central part of the glass body 1 is provided with an internal electrically-conducting screen 4 which faces and is connected by a conductor 6 to an external metal sleeve 5 provided with means, such as a shank 7, for holding the tube. The internal screen may be produced galvanically or by spraying.
