595,935. Connectors for flexible tubing. GAS LIGHT & COKE CO., and AUSTEN, C. R. July 10, 1945, No. 17565. [Class 99 (i)] A connector end for flexible tubing consists of a sleeve 1 of rubber or like material with a metal fitting 5 permanently fixed in one end, the other portion 3 of the sleeve being such that its rigidity decreases as the distance from the metal piece increases, the said piece being separated by a shoulder 4 from the flexible tubing which is held in the sleeve by any suitable method. The variable rigidity of the end 3 of the sleeve may be attained by decreasing its thickness, as shown.
