Abstract

401,099. Tube joints. JORDAN, P., 13, Gravelottestrasse, Steglitz, Berlin. Oct. 20, 1932, No. 29408. Convention date, Oct. 22, 1931. [Class 99 (i).] Helically corrugated flexible metal tubes are connected end to end by a coupling-sleeve which is cut from a similarly corrugated tube of larger diameter and which is screwed on the ends to be connected. The end of a tube may be connected to a junction box &c. by a coupling-sleeve of the above kind which screws on the end of the tube and into a threaded socket or boss on the junction box. The Figure shows a flexible tube 1 having a coupling-sleeve 4 screwed on one end.
