Abstract

339,678. Reyrolle & Co., Ltd., A., and Blanch, N. R. Sept. 13, 1929. Conduits and casings.-An expansion-joint for an oil-filled tube E for a conductor C comprises a chamber A through which the tube can slide and a flexible sleeve G surrounding the tube with in the chamber and secured thereto by oil-tight joints at the ring G<1> and flange H, respectively. The chamber A has an oil-tight connection with a casing B, or with another casing A if it is desired to connect together two oil-filled tubes. Specification 292,679, [Class 38 (v), Electric switches &c.], is referred to.
