257,100. Hanff, E. Aug. 31, 1925. Junction boxes.-Tubular fittings used in connection with electric cable and like conduits and provided with inspection openings are provided with permanently attached cover plates for the openings. In one construction, Fig. 1, a. tubular fitting a has an inspection opening b and carries a hinged cover plate f which is maintained in the closed position by spring clips f<1>. Another construction is shown in Fig. 5, in which the cover plate is in the form of a sleeve g slidable and held in position by friction.
