[Class 99 (i)] [See also Groups XXV and XXXVI] A device for joining wires, electric cables, wire ropes &c. comprises a head A, two spaced arms B extending from the head and having slots C admitting the wires, and a set screw D passing through the head and bearing on the overlapping wires. To prevent spreading of a stranded wire cable a small saddle block G is used.
