Abstract
528,311. Junction boxes. LIVERPOOL ELECTRIC CABLE CO., Ltd., and MILNER, R. F. D. May 19, 1939, No. 15011. [Class 38 (i)] A junction box for armoured cables has the part a<1> around the cable inlet d tapered to form a surface against which the armour wires e<2> are clamped by a ring f secured by bolts g. A tapered sleeve may be inserted between the wires e<2>. In order to accommodate cables of different diameters, the cable inlet d is formed with a groove d<1> into which interchangeable split collars h may be set.
