Couplings.-Cables of steelaluminium have the steel wires clamped by a conical bush e concentrically arranged in a conical thimble a which presses the aluminium wires against the inner walls of a conical socket b. Two sockets b are coupled by a screwed sleeve c. The end of a cable may be secured to an insulator by means of an eye-bolt screwed into the sleeve c.
