Abstract

755,159 Two-part couplings. LIQUIDOMETER CORPORATION. June 30, 1954 [March 30, 1954], No. 19156/54. Class 38 (1). The outer braided conductor 12 of a coaxial cable connected to a plug or socket (Fig. 4, not shown) is gripped between two eyelets 21, 24 which are clamped between a rubber grommet 16 and a metal member 33 held together by a cap 17, the forward end of which is spun into a recess 35 in the member 33 or alternatively screwed on to it. The plug pin 28 is held in an insulator 31, and a shield 41 is secured to member 33.
