Abstract

309,303. Pirelli General Cable Works, Ltd., and Horley, R. E. April 2, 1928. Cable joints; junction boxes. - A three-core cable having the cores separately sheathed in lead or a metal or metallized screen is jointed within a sleeve A having radial metal plates D separating the cores. Each core is passed through a boss C on the end plate B and joined to the corresponding core. The plates D are then inserted in slots E in the end plates and the halves of the sleeve A are bolted together round the joint and bolted to the end plates.
