Abstract

Cables, arrangement and disposition of parts of.-In three-phase cables, each single core comprises a sector-shaped conductor a provided with insulation b and a metal sheath c and has a section approximately that of the third part of a circle. When the cores are laid up together the metal sheaths may be in contact or separated by a light material such as oiled paper. The whole may be enclosed in an armour made of steel tapes or wires.
