Abstract

Cables with auxiliary conductors.-Relates to a cable of the " cabtyre " type in which two or more insulated conductors, 2, and an uninsulated earthed conductor 5, are incorporated, the whole of the conductors being wrapped around with a flexible metallic screen consisting of wires which are in contact with the conductors. According to the present invention, the flexible metallic screen consists of a single group of wires 6 which are wound helically and unidirectionally around the conductors.
