Junction boxes; earth-continuity couplings. - The continuity or bonding wires C of metal-sheathed cables B, or short lengths of wire soldered to the sheaths, are connected together and to the junction box or bonding clamp D, by twisting the wires around one or more pins or studs E riveted or soldered to the base-plate of the box. The pins may be of soft metal with which the wires are intertwisted. An insulating thimble G can be used to cover the joint similar to those employed to cover the conductor joints. Tongues D<1> cut in the walls of the box may be folded down or removed to form inlet openings for the leads and a cover D<2> is sprung on.
