Motor power plant; regulating; setting and alining shafts; working-fluid supply.-A numberof hydraulic inward-flow turbines 29 are arranged on the same shaft 15 and connected in series bv conduits 33, the supply tank being connected to the stand-pipe 3 of the first turbine casing, while the other stand-pipes 5 - - 8 serve to maintain a head of water for each successive turbine. Handcontrolled valve rings 35 are provided to regulate the flow, and the shaft 15 may be adjusted longitudinally by a screw 20, Fig. 6, engaging a member 19 which bears against a removable wearing plate 18 on the shaft.
