Abstract

1,213,258. Refrigerators. STREATER INDUSTRIES Inc. 20 Oct., 1969 [25 Nov., 1968], No. 51443/69. Heading F4H. In a refrigerated display cabinet an air curtain is directed transversely across and generally parallel to the top of a food bin from an air supply flue 26 formed between the bin wall 21 and outer wall 11 of the cabinet to an air return flue 27 formed between the bin wall 20 and outer wall 10 of the cabinet and the entrance to the return flue has a removable grille 41 of louvred construction. The grills louvres 50 are of shallow, inverted V-shape both to direct the air flow downwardly into the return duct and to prevent access of moisture thereinto.
