120,233. Blatchford, C. A. Oct. 5, 1917. Limbs, artificial. - An attachment for securing tools to artificial arms comprises a stem 21 which is secured to a wrist plate and carries, by means of a ball and socket connexion 23 fitted with a clamping-screw 25, a socket member 22 into which is screwed a headed bolt 26 surrounded by a spring- controlled sleeve 27. The sleeve is provided with a bush 29 shaped to form, in conjunction with the head 30 of the bolt, a number of recesses 31. A block 32 secured to the tool &c. has a recess 33 across which extends a spring-controlled arm 34 operable by a knob 37 and adapted to engage one of the recesses 31.
