Limbs, artificial. - An arm socket B of ordinary construction is fitted with an openended metal collar F adapted to manipulate a steering-wheel V, as shown in Fig. 1, or to receive a metal plug G, Fig. 3, with central hole H into which various fittings such as an artificial hand, a hook, a knife, a drinking- vessel, a clip, a spanner, or a button-hook R, Fig. 8, can be placed. The plug G is held in place by a set-screw L, which engages also a groove J in the tang I of the particular fitting in use. A hinged hook or finger W is attached to the collar F.
