Abstract

188,136. Weldon, J. Sept. 9, 1921. Limbs, artificial.-A fitting for an artificial arm comprises a stem e having a fixed jaw f and a movable jaw b pivoted thereto at b<1>. The jaw b is fitted with a ring d for connection to shoulder harness, and is normally held closed by a spring n. A wing nut c on a stem k pivoted to the fixed jaw may be screwed down to secure any tool or other article placed between the jaws.
