Limbs, artificial.- Means for connecting a hand to an artificial arm comprise a spring - urged plate 12 carried by the forearm 7 and engaging a circumferential groove 4 on a pin 3 projecting from the wrist plate 1 of the hand 2 and a U-shaped member 9 carried inside the forearm and actuated from the exterior thereof bv a screwed rod 10 to embrace the pin and to clamp the hand in any desired position. The plate 12 may be retained out of engagement with the pin 3 by rotating the head 15 screwed thereon until a rectangular projection 14 is in such a position that it will not pass through a hole in the forearm casing 6.
