207,953. Lake, A. E. Oct. 21, 1922. Jacks.-In jacks actuated by pawl-and-ratchet mechanism, the pivoted pawl D is reversed by a member G which extends along the handle B. The member G is kept in place by engagement with a stud J pivoted to the handle. In a modification the member G is attached to the pawl near the nose D<1> and the arm D<3> is connected by a spring to the handle.
