Abstract

235,043. Waugh, R. Nov. 18. 1924. Catches, spring.-In a fastening for hand bags &c. of the type comprising a catch pivoted on one part of the bag and held in engagement with a member on the other part by the pull on the carrying handle which is attached to the catch, the catch 17, Figs. 1 and 7, has an extension 18 forming a manipulating handle. The catch is spring prised to fastening position, and the member 26, Fig. 7, with which it engages is bevelled at 28 so that the engagement is automatic. The catches may be used singly or one may be attached to each end of the handle.
