231,626. Parker, Winder, & Achurch, Ltd., and Bates, W. E. Oct. 10, 1924. Latches, lift and thumb.- The release lever 13 of a lift and thumb latch has an upwardly extending operating arm 1 located within a loopshaped handle 6 on the door. The lever is pivoted between lugs 12 on the handle approximately on the same level as the latch 4, and the upper and lower parts of the handle are of channel section to receive the ends of the operating arm 1.
