Latches, lift and thumb.-The lift lever D has two projections G, H fitting into corresponding seatings in the base L of the latch housing B to form fulcra for the lever, so that when either of the handles E, F is pulled or pressed the latch P will be raised. The centre of gravity of the lever and handles is arranged to lie between the projections G, H, and a slight depression K may be made in the lever for the latch P.
