Abstract

1,116,956. Refrigerators. F. LULF, [trading as MUNSTERLANDISCHE MARGARINEWERKE J. LULF], and J. WINKLEHAUS ELSING. 14 Sept., 1965 [14 Sept., 1964; 21 Jan., 1965], No. 39236/65. Heading F4H. Refrigerator compartiments 14a-14c are formed between vertical partition walls 12 and 12<SP>1</SP> and horizontal walls 39 and 39a of a refrigerator 16, the walls 12 and 12<SP>1</SP> having slots through which air from a refrigeration unit 18 is circulated by a fan 34. The air flow through the compartments is individually controlled by flaps 38 and 40. A condensate trough 32 is provided. Rails may be provided in the compartments to support trays and the flaps 38 and 40 may be provided with small orifices to give a permanent flow of air. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), a single fan circulates air through two sets of compartments df Fig. 1 type arranged side by side. The slots in the wall 12 may be smaller than those in the wall 12<SP>1</SP>.
