Abstract

Moteur dont le carter d'huile est subdivisé en deux chambres communiquantes dont chacune est équipée d'une canalisation d'aspiration et dont l'une comprend un fond placé à distance au-dessus du fond du carter. Un distributeur 13 à commande thermostatique raccorde les canalisations d'aspiration 7 et 8 à une canalisation d'alimentation commune 12 et, lorsque la température de l'huile est basse, il raccorde au moins de manière prépondérante la canalisation d'alimentation 12 à la première chambre 6, mais par contre il la raccorde au moins de manière prépondérante à l'autre chambre 5 lorsque l'huile est à température élevée, au moins le fond 4 du carter 1 étant exposé à l'air de balayage du véhicule en marche et étant en matériau qui transmet la chaleur. Application aux voitures de manière que l'huile de lubrification du moteur soit à des températures différentes selon que ce dernier est chaud ou froid.
