Abstract
L'information peut être enregistrée et lue par voie optique. L'élément est constitué par un substrat transparent sur lequel est appliquée une couche auxiliaire absorbant la lumière laser et contenant un colorant, ainsi qu'une couche d'enregistrement réflectrice de lumière laser présente sur la couche auxiliaire. Pour enregistrer de l'information, l'élément est exposé de façon intermittente par l'intermédiaire du substrat à de la lumière laser de façon à former des trous dans la couche d'enregistrement. La couche auxiliaire favorise la formation de trous et permet d'obtenir une économie en énergie de lumière laser. Dans une forme de réalisation avantageuse, la couche auxiliaire présente une absorption de lumière laser de 20 à 80 % et une epaisseur maximale de 2500 Angströms. Dans une forme de réalisation avantageuse, la couche auxiliaire contient en outre une substance endothermique, comme par exemple la nitrocellulose présentant une teneur en azote d'au minimum 11 %. Application : à l'enregistrement d'information par voie optique.
