Abstract

L'invention concerne la préparation d'anodes actives pour l'électrolyse de solutions aqueuses. Après nettoyage, prétraitement (décapage) et revêtement de Ni galvanique, on effectue une activation des anodes dans un bain galvanique contenant une certaine concentration en NiSO4 . 7H2 O et en un constituant libérant du soufre; on règle également le pH, la température, la densité du courant anodique et la durée de l'activation. Cette activation durable permet de diminuer la surtension à l'anode lors de la production de H2 et O 2 par électrolyse de solutions alcalines aqueuses.
