Claims (6)

1. Förfarande för framställning av en katalysator för rening av avgaser, kännetecknat därav, 5 att det omfattar följande steg: man framställer aktivt aluminiumoxidpulver som in-nehäller ett flertal metaller ur platinagruppen genom att behandla den aktiva aluminiumoxiden skilt frän de övriga komponenterna av den i det följande definierade slurryn 10 med ett flertal metaller ur platinagruppen varvid tili flertalet metaller ur platinagruppen hör platina och ro-dium; man framställer en slurry omfattande nämnda aluminiumoxidpulver, innehällande ett flertal metaller ur pla-15 tinagruppen, ceriumoxid, en bariumförening och en zirko-niumförening; man utfäller slurryn pä ett monolitiskt katalysa-torunderlag; och man kalcinerar katalysatorunderlaget med vidhäng-20 ande utfälld slurry; och väri vikten för platinan är 0,1 - 10 g per liter färdig katalysator, vikten för rodiumet 0,02 - 2 g per liter färdig katalysator, vikten för den aktiva aluminiumoxiden är 30 - 200 g per liter färdig katalysator, ; 25 vikten för ceriumoxiden är 10 - 150 g per liter färdig katalysator, vikten för bariumföreningen är 0,1 - 20 g, räknad som bariumoxid, per liter färdig katalysator och vikten för zirkoniumföreningen är 0,1 - 30 g, räknad som zirkonyloxid, per liter färdig katalysator. 30
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, känne tecknat därav, att det monolitiska katalysatorunderlaget utgörs av ett honungscellartat eller tredimen-sionellt nätverk.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1 eller 2, 35 kännetecknat därav, att det monolitiska katalysatorunderlaget utgörs av kordierit. 23 93084
4. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, 2 eller 3, kännetecknat därav, att det monolitiska kata-lysatorunderlaget utgörs av en eldfast metall.
5. Förfarande enligt nägot av de föregäende pa- 5 tentkraven, kännetecknat därav, att barium-föreningen är bariumhydroxid.
6. Förfarande enligt nägot av de föregäende pa-tentkraven, kännetecknat därav, att zirko-niumföreningon är zirkonylacetat.
