Claims (25)
1. Styv, oorganisk skumprodukt för användning som isoleringsmaterial eller eldskyddande material och 5 omfattande ett eller flera mineral med skiktstruktur, kännetecknad därav, att den utgörs av skum-partiklar, varvid varje partikel har en cellulär struktur.
2. Skumprodukt enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknad därav, att den har en densitet under 0,4 10 g/ml.
3. Skumprodukt enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknad därav, att skumpartiklarna är framställda av delaminerad vermikulit.
4. Skumprodukt enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, 15 kännetecknad därav, att skumpartiklarna är framställda av kaolinit eller en lera innehällande kaolin.
5. Skumprodukt enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknad därav, att skumpartiklarna är framställda av montmorillonit.
6. Skumprodukt enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknad därav, att skumpartiklarna är framställda av sepiolit.
7. Skumprodukt enligt nägot av föregäende patent-krav, kännetecknad därav, att skumpartiklarna 25 är hoplimmade med varandra med hjälp av ett bindemedel.
8- Skumprodukt enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-7, kännetecknad därav,att skumpartiklarna är in-bäddade i en cellulär matris omfattande ett eller flera mineral med skiktstruktur.
9. Skumprodukt enligt patentkravet 8, känne tecknad därav, att den cellulära matrisen är delaminerad vermikulit.
10. Skumprodukt enligt nägot av föregäende patent-krav, kännetecknad därav, att den föreligger 35 i form av ett laminat med ett eller flera skikt av ett icke-skummat material. 38 69828

Förfarande för framställning av en styv, oorganisk skumprodukt enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-10, varvid man skummar upp en suspension av ett eller flera skiktmineral i ett vätskeformigt medium innehällande ett 5 ytaktivt medel, sä att det bildas ett stabilt, vatt skum, kännetecknat därav, att det vita skummet upp-delas i droppar eller fiberliknande utpressade strängar, ätminstone en del av det vätskeformiga mediet avlägsnas frän dropparna för att bilda skumpartiklar och en skura- 10 produkt bildas av partiklarna, varvid de fiberliknande utpressade strängarna efter torkning söndersmulas för er-hällande av partiklar.
12. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 11, kännetecknat därav, att suspensionen innehäller delami- 15 nerad vermikulit och att ett tryckhällfasthets- och vatten-stabilitetsförbättrande medel för skummet sätts tili suspensionen.
13. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 11, kännetecknat därav, att suspensionen inne- 20 haller ett annat skiktmineral än delaminerad vermikulit och att det erhällna, styva, oorganiska skummet sintras för att förbättra dess tryckhällfasthet och vattenstabi-litet.
14. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 13, k ä n n e - 25 tecknat därav, att skummet upphettas vid högst 1200°C för att sintra detsamma.
15. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 11, kännetecknat därav, att partiklar av ett eller flera skiktmineral och med en cellulär struktur sätts ihop tili 30 en önskad produktform aggregatet av partiklarna konsoli-deras för bildning av skumprodukten.
16. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 11, kännetecknat därav, att en uppskummad suspension av ett eller flera skiktmineral i ett vätskeformigt medium för- 35 sätts med partiklar eller flera skiktmineral och med en
