SE FORMA UNA SUSPENSION QUE ESTA COMPUESTA POR DOS O MAS MINERALES EN CAPAS, TALES COMO MONTMORILLONITA Y SEPIOLITA, VERMICULITA DESLAMINADA, UN MEJORADOR DE LA RESISTENCIA A LA COMPRENSION Y ESTABILIDAD EN AGUA PARA LA ESPUMA RESULTANTE, TAL COMO OXIDO DE MAGNESIO PARTICULADO, UNA ARCILLA PLASTICA Y/O UNA ARCILLA REFRACTARIA Y UN MINERAL EN CAPAS DISTINTO A LA VERMICULITA DESLAMINADA. SE GASIFICA DICHA SUSPENSION PARA FORMAR UNA ESPUMA HUMEDA ESTABLE, SEPARANDOSE A CONTINUACION PARTE DEL MEDIO LIQUIDO DE LA ESPUMA HUMEDA. SE UTILIZAN COMO MATERIALES TERMO-RESISTENTES Y TERMO-AISLANTES DE UTILIDAD EN APLICACIONES DE PROTECCION CONTRA INCENDIOS Y DE AISLAMIENTO TERMICO.
