Claims (23)
1. Menetelmä zeta-negatiivisen agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien dispersion valmistamiseksi, joka menetelmä käsittää zeta-negatiivisen karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien suspension pH:n säätämisen vähintään arvoon 7, ja pH säädetyn suspension saattamisen helmimyllytyk-seen.
2. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen menetelmä, jossa pH säädetään arvoon 7-14, edullisemmin arvoon 7-13.
3. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 tai 2 mukainen menetelmä, jossa suspension nestemäinen väliaine valitaan joukosta joka koostuu seuraavista: polaariset prootti-set liuottimet, polaariset aproottiset liuottimet, dipolaariset aproottiset liuottimet, ioniset nesteet, tai näiden liuottimien seos.
4. Patenttivaatimuksen 3 mukainen menetelmä, jossa polaarinen proottinen liuotin on vesi, alkoholi, lineaarinen alifaattinen dioli, haaroittunut dioli tai kar-boksyylihappo; polaarinen aproottinen liuotin on dikloorimetaani, tetrahydrofu-raani, propyleenikarbonaatti tai laktaami; dipolaarinen aproottinen liuotin on ketoni, esteri, Ν,Ν-metyyliformamidi tai dimetyylisulfoksidi; ja ioninen neste on 1 -etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumkloridi, 1 -butyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsolium-kloridi, 1 -etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumetyylisulfaatti, 1-etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsolium-dietyyli-fosfaatti, 1-etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumdisyanamidi, tris-(2-hydrok-sietyylij-metyyliammoniummetyylisulfaatti, 1-etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumtio-syanaatti, 1 -etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumtetrafluoriboraatti, 1 -etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumtri-fluorimetaanisulfonaatti, 1-etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumbis(tri-fluorimetaani-sulfonyylijimidi, 1-etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliummetyylikarbonaatti ja 1 -butyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliummetyylikarbonaatti.
5. Patenttivaatimuksen 3 tai 4 mukainen menetelmä, jossa nestemäinen väliaine valitaan joukosta joka koostuu seuraavista: vesi, metanoli, etanoli, iso-propanoli, lineaariset alifaattiset diolit, haaroittuneet diolit, N-metyyli-2-pyrroli-doni (NMP), N-ethyl-2-pyrrolidoni (NEP) ja dimetyylisulfoksidi (DMSO) tai jonkin näistä liuottimista seos, edullisesti nestemäinen väliaine on vesi.
6. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-5 mukainen menetelmä, jossa zeta-negatiivisen karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien suspension zeta-potentiaali ennen pH- säätöä on yli -30 mV pH:ssa 3-5, edullisesti yli -35 mV pH:ssa 3-5, edullisemmin yli -40 mV pH:ssa 3-5.
7. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-6 mukainen menetelmä, jossa zeta-negatiivi-nen karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien suspensio esikäsitellään ennen helmi-myllytystä.
8. Patenttivaatimuksen 7 mukainen menetelmä, jossa esikäsittely on ultraääni-käsittely.
9. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-8 mukainen menetelmä, jossa pH säädetään Brönsted- tai Lewis-hapolla, edullisesti ammoniumhydroksidilla, ammoniakilla, NaHztOHJIa, metyyliamiinilla, dietyyliamiinilla, pyridiinillä, trimetyyliammonia-killa, litiumhydroksidilla (LiOH), natriumhydroksidilla (NaOH), kaliumhydroksi-dilla (KOH), bariumhydroksidilla (Ba(OH)2), kesiumhydroksidilla (CsOH), stron-tiumhydroksidilla (Sr(OH)2), kalsiumhydroksidilla (Ca(OH)2), rubidiumhydroksi-dilla (RbOH), edullisemmin ammonium hydroksidilla, ammoniakilla, NaH4OH, NaOH, KOH, ja kaikkein edullisimmin ammonium hydroksidilla.
10. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-9 mukainen menetelmä, jossa pH säädetyn suspension helmimyllytystä avustetaan ultraäänikäsittelyllä.
11. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-10 mukainen menetelmä, jossa zeta-nega-tiivisen agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien dispersion zeta-potentiaali on yli -35 mV, edullisesti yli 37 mV, edullisemmin yli -40 mV ja kaikkein edullisimmin yli -50 mV mitattuna pH:ssa joka on yli 7.
12. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-10 mukainen menetelmä, jossa zeta-nega-tiivisen agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien dispersion zeta-potentiaali on yli -60 mV, edullisesti yli -70 mV mitattuna pH:ssa joka on yli 8.5.
13. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-12 mukainen menetelmä, jossa zeta-nega-tiivisten agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttipartikkeleiden pitoisuus dispersiossa on yli 1 p-%, edullisesti yli 2 p-%, edullisemmin 2-10 p-%, edullisimmin 3-8 p-%.
14. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 1-13 mukainen menetelmä, jossa zeta-negatii-visten agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttipartikkeleiden D90 keskimääräinen primaarinen partikkelikokojakauma on 2-30 nm, edullisesti 2-20 nm, edullisemmin 2-12 nm ja edullisimmin 3-8 nm.
15. Zeta-negatiivinen agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien dispersio, joka käsittää zeta-negatiivisia agglomeroitumattomia karboksyloituja nanotimanttipartikkeleita ja nestemäistä väliainetta, jossa i) zeta-negatiivisen agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien dispersion zeta-potentiaali on yli -40 mV mitattuna pH:ssa joka on yli 7, ii) zeta-negatiivisten agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttipar-tikkeleiden pitoisuus dispersiossa on yli 2 p-%, iii) zeta-negatiivisten agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttipar-tikkeleiden D90 keskimääräinen primaarinen partikkelikokojakauma on 2-12 nm.
16. Patenttivaatimuksen 15 mukainen dispersio, jossa zeta-negatiivisen agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien dispersion zeta-poten-tiaali on yli -50 mV mitattuna pH:ssa joka on yli 7.
17. Patenttivaatimuksen 15 mukainen dispersio, jossa zeta-negatiivisen agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien dispersion zeta-poten-tiaali on yli -60 mV ja edullisemmin yli -70 mV mitattuna pH:ssa joka on yli 8,5.
18. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 15-17 mukainen dispersio, jossa zeta-negatiivisten agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttipartikkeleiden pitoisuus dispersiossa on 2-10 p-%, edullisemmin 3-8 p-%.
19. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 15-18 mukainen dispersio, jossa nestemäinen väliaine valitaan joukosta joka koostuu seuraavista: polaariset proottiset liuottimet, polaariset aproottiset liuottimet, dipolaariset aproottiset liuottimet, ioniset nesteet, tai näiden liuottimien seos.
20. Patenttivaatimuksen 19 mukainen dispersio, jossa polaarinen proottinen liuotin on vesi, alkoholi, lineaarinen alifaattinen dioli, haaroittunut dioli tai kar-boksyylihappo; polaarinen aproottinen liuotin on dikloorimetaani, tetrahydrofu-raani, propyleenikarbonaatti tai laktaami; dipolaarinen aproottinen liuotin on ketoni, esteri, Ν,Ν-metyyliformamidi tai dimetyylisulfoksidi; ja ioninen neste on 1 -etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumkloridi, 1 -butyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsolium-kloridi, 1 - etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumetyylisulfaatti, 1 -etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumdi-etyyli-fosfaatti, 1 -etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumdisyanamidi, tris-(2-hydroksi-etyyli)-metyyliammoniummetyylisulfaatti, 1-etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumtiosya-naatti, 1 -etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumtetrafluoriboraatti, 1 -etyyl i-3-metyy I i-im i-datsoliumtri-fluorimetaanisulfonaatti, 1-etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliumbis(trifluori-metaani-sulfonyyli)imidi, 1-etyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliummetyylikarbonaatti ja 1-butyyli-3-metyyli-imidatsoliummetyylikarbonaatti.
21. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 15-20 mukainen dispersio, jossa nestemäinen väliaine valitaan joukosta joka koostuu seuraavista: vesi, metanoli, etanoli, iso-propanoli, lineaariset alifaattiset diolit, haaroittuneet diolit, N-metyyli-2-pyrroli-doni (NMP), N-ethyl-2-pyrrolidoni (NEP) ja dimetyylisulfoksidi (DMSO) tai jonkin näistä liuottimista seos, edullisesti nestemäinen väliaine on vesi.
22. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 15-21 mukainen dispersio, jossa zeta-negatii-visten agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttipartikkeleiden D90 keskimääräinen primaarinen partikkelikokojakauma on 3-8 nm.
23. Jonkin patenttivaatimuksen 15-22 mukainen dispersio, jossa zeta-negatii-visen agglomeroitumattomien karboksyloitujen nanotimanttien dispersion pH on 5-13, edullisemmin 7-13.
