Abstract

Procedimiento para la generación de un producto gaseoso rico en hidrógeno con alto poder calorífico a partir de un material de partida en forma de sustancias o mezclas de sustancias orgánicas, en el que el material de partida se descompone en una zona de pirólisis (2) mediante pirólisis en un residuo sólido conteniendo carbono y gas de pirólisis como fase volátil y los gases de pirólisis se mezclan con vapor de agua como reactivo y se calientan posteriormente en una zona de reacción (3) de tal manera que se produce un producto gaseoso con alto poder calorífico, con lo que el calor necesario para la pirólisis y el calentamiento posterior proviene al menos en su mayor parte de la combustión de los residuos sólidos conteniendo carbono de la pirólisis y se alimenta al sistema mediante un producto a granel como portador de calor, transportado en el circuito, que se calienta en una zona de calentamiento (13) con los gases calientes de la combustión de los residuos sólidos conteniendo carbono, a continuación se pone en contacto en la zona de reacción (3) con la mezcla de gas de pirólisis y vapor de agua, entonces aporta al menos una parte de su calor medible en la zona de pirólisis (2) y a continuación se devuelve por medio de un transportador de cargas a granel (6) al principio del circuito portador de calor, caracterizado porque en el circuito portador de calor antes de la zona de calentamiento (13), en la que el circuito portador de calor se calienta a una temperatura de 1050 °C a 1100 °C, se prevé una zona de precalentamiento (4), en la que el producto a granel se precalienta con el producto gaseoso caliente procedente de la zona de reacción (3) y además recibe la mayor parte de su calor, y porque la transferencia de calor del circuito portador de calor al material de partida en la etapa de pirólisis (2) se lleva a cabo indirectamente y sin contacto directo con el producto a granel a través de un medio calefactor gaseoso intermedio (17), que se calienta en una zona de enfriamiento (19) del circuito del portador de calor y a continuación emite una parte del calor absorbido en la zona de pirólisis (2) a través de la camisa calefactora de un aparato de pirólisis al material de partida a pirolizar, con lo que el circuito del portador de calor en la zona de enfriamiento (19) antes de la entrada en el transportador de cargas a granel (6) se enfría a una temperatura entre la temperatura ambiente y 200° C.
