Abstract
Masas de moldeo termoplásticas, que se colorean con combinaciones de al menos dos colorantes de manera que resulta una impresión de color oscura (es decir, un valor de color normalizado de Y<30) de la masa de moldeo y que no se produce en el intervalo de la luz visible (400 nm hasta 700 nm) a un espesor de capa, que se sitúa en el intervalo de 0, 4 hasta 5 mm, una reducida o ninguna transmisión (es decir, una transmisión de un 10%) y se produce en el intervalo de longitudes de onda de 700 nm hasta 1200 nm al menos en intervalos parciales espectrales una transmisión de > de un 10 % con irradiaciones con luz láser, seleccionándose las combinaciones de los colorantes de tipo pirazolona, perinona y antraquinona, metino, azóico y del tipo cumarina y/o pigmentos, que contienen metales, como pigmentos inorgánicos y complejos metálicos de colorantes azóicos, azometina o metina, del tipo azometina, quinacridona, dioxacina, isoindolina, perileno, ftalocianina, pirrolopirrol y del tipo tioíndigo yvanadato de bismuto, y conteniendo las masas de moldeo poliamidas o poliésteres parcialmente aromáticos.
Description
Masas de moldeo termoplásticas soldables mediante
láser.
La presente invención se refiere a masas de
moldeo termoplásticas de color oscuro y piezas moldeadas formadas
por las mismas, que son transmisoras del láser en el intervalo de
longitud de onda de 700 hasta 1200 nm al menos en intervalos
parciales espectrales y que pueden soldarse mediante láser con
piezas moldeadas absorbentes del láser.
Para el soldado de piezas moldeadas de plásticos
celulares existen diferentes procedimientos (Kunststoffe 87,
(1997), 11, 1632-1640). Condición para una costura
de soldado estable es el caso de procedimientos ampliamente
extendidos del soldado de elementos en caliente y del soldado en
vibración (por ejemplo, de tubos de aspiración de automóviles) un
reblandecimiento suficiente de los componentes de unión en la zona
de contacto antes de la etapa de unión en sí.
En la prensa conjunta de los componentes de
soldado es de determinar la solidez de la costura de soldado
formada, que se encuentra la presión aplicada en una zona óptima y
determinada. El mismo no debe de ser demasiado grande ya que ejerce
la fusión sobre la zona de contacto, pero tampoco debe de ser menor
que el que se ejerce igualmente en los puntos débiles de la costura
de soldado. Esto tiene como causa entre otras cosas, que en muchas
piezas técnicas, que tienen que soldarse entre sí, no pueda
alcanzarse una precisión de ajuste al 100%. Por una presión de
prensado lo suficientemente elevada puede obtenerse ciertamente
solo en contacto de las soldaduras de las piezas moldeadas sobre la
totalidad de la costura de soldado, conduciendo las proporciones de
presión diversas, sin embargo, a una salida de la fusión
fuertemente diferenciada sobre la costura de soldado y con ello a
solideces elevadamente diferentes de forma local. Una reducción del
problema es posible, por ejemplo, por el aumento de la viscosidad
de la fusión (EP-A 0685 528 A1), lo que condiciona a
una menor salida de la fusión en la zona de contacto.
Como método alternativo al soldado por vibración
y al soldado en elementos de calientes se encuentra el soldado
mediante láser, particularmente con láser de diodos en los últimos
tiempos siempre más. Como base del soldado mediante láser de
materiales sintéticos es la absorción de la irradiación en la masa
de moldeo. Los polímeros puros son demasiado transparentes y
translúcidos a la irradiación por láser, es decir, las mismas solo
lo absorben malamente. Mediante los pigmentos, cargas o bien
reforzantes y aditivos puede controlarse la absorción y con ello el
tratamiento de la luz láser en el calor.

42-46).
Una condición para el empleo del soldado mediante
láser es que la irradiación emitida por el láser penetra primero en
un componente de unión, que es lo suficientemente transparente para
la luz láser de la longitud de onda empleada, y entonces se
transforma por un segundo componente de unión en una capa delgada
de 100 \mum de espesor y se trata en el calor, que conduce a la
fusión en la zona de contacto y por último a un compuesto de ambos
precursores de contacto mediante una costura de soldado.
En el intervalo de la longitud e onda de los
láser empleados habitualmente para el soldado termoplástico
(nd:YAG-láser:1060 nm; láser de diodos de alto
rendimiento: de 800 hasta 1000 nm) son además termoplásticos
parcialmente cristalinos, como poliamidas, por ejemplo, poliamida 6
(PA6) y poliamida 66 (PA66) o poliésteres, por ejemplo,
polibutilentereftalato (PBT) y polietilentereftalato (PET)
transparentes o bien translúcidos al láser.
Cuando se empleen a continuación los significados
transparentes al láser y absorbentes del láser, se referirán
siempre al intervalo de longitudes de onda anteriormente citado. Se
llega, sin embargo, por la morfología parcialmente cristalina para
dar una dispersión más o menos fuerte de la luz láser, de manera
que se ausenta una gran parte de la transmisión del porcentaje
difuso. La medición de la capacidad de transmisión para la luz
láser de IR se lleva a cabo habitualmente mediante un fotómetro
espectral y una esfera fotométrica integrada. La disposición de
medición detecta también el porcentaje difuso de la irradiación
transmitida. El mismo no se mide tan solo en una longitud de onda,
sino que además en un intervalo espectral, que comprende todos los
tiempos de las longitudes de onda del láser empleadas para la
realización del soldado.
La transmisión de la luz láser se perturba por
los componentes de las masas de moldeo termoplásticas, que absorben
la luz de la longitud de onda correspondiente. Estos son
particularmente hollines, pero también de más colorantes, pigmentos
o cargas y productos reforzantes, por ejemplo, fibras de carbono.
Para la aplicación de realización técnica con éxito del soldado
mediante láser es necesario para la unión de las piezas moldeadas,
formadas por masas de moldeo termoplásticas una masa de moldeo
absorbente del láser y además una masa de moldeo transparente a la
irradiación láser.

pueden emplearse, por ejemplo, en el caso de componentes PA6
reforzados por fibras de vidrio, masas de moldeo, que contienen
hollín. Las masas de moldeo de este tipo se emplean, por ejemplo,
habitualmente también para tubos de succión de motores de combustión
de vehículos, que se unen también en el procedimiento de soldado
por vibración.
En el caso de la absorción de la irradiación se
lleva a cabo muy cerca de la superficie, que conduce a una solidez
de la costura de soldado menor, puede obtenerse una mejora, en caso
dado mediante reducción de la concentración de hollín (Kunststoffe
87 (1997) 3, 348-350).
Por la EP-A 0 751 865 se describe
un procedimiento para el soldado mediante láser, en el cual se
suelda una primera pieza de material con una transmisión de más de
un 60% con una segunda pieza de material de una transmisión
descuidable. La pequeña transmisión del zócalo de carcasa se
consigue en este caso mediante una pigmentación con un 1% hasta un
2% de colorantes y para la tapa de carcasa con una concentración de
colorante reducida, en caso dado también sin pigmentación. No se
describe cuales de los pigmentos o bien colorantes son también
adecuados.
Se consigue también una posibilidad
principalmente de la combinación de, por ejemplo, PA6 reforzado por
fibras de vidrio no coloreado como un componente transparente al
láser con un PA6 reforzado por fibras de vidrio y coloreados
mediante hollín como precursor absorbente del láser, para dar una
composición sólida de dos piezas moldeadas formadas, en este caso,
por PA6 reforzadas por fibras de vidrio.
La unión de una pieza moldeada negra (por
ejemplo, absorbente de láser coloreada por hollín) con una pieza
moldeada transparente o bien incolora (por ejemplo, no teñido,
transparente al láser) es problemática, sin embargo, para muchas
aplicaciones. Particularmente en empleos con solicitación de
temperatura elevada (T>100ºC), como es típico, por ejemplo, para
piezas moldeadas de poliamida en el sector automovilístico, se
llega muy rápidamente en el caso de piezas moldeadas a un
amarilleamiento hasta emparduzcamiento no considerable de la
superficie, que es indeseado por bases estéticas.
El colorante empleado habitualmente para la
coloración de negro de termoplásticos técnicos es hollín,
empleándose hollines, que se emplean a través de procedimientos
diversos y que muestran distribuciones de tamaños de grano diversas
o bien superficies específicas. El empleo de hollines es claramente
más favorable en costes para la coloración de negro que en
colorantes orgánicos o inorgánicos.
En muchos casos tiene la coloración con hollines
o pigmentos inorgánicos, sin embargo, una influencia negativa sobre
las propiedades mecánicas de termoplásticos técnicos,
particularmente sobre la tenacidad, determinada, por ejemplo, como
resiliencia Izod según ISO 180 1C.
En algunos termoplásticos técnicos, por ejemplo,
en poliamida 6 y poliamida 66 actúa el hollín además como agente de
nucleización, es decir, el hollín actúa como germen de
cristalización en la fusión de poliamida y favorece, por
consiguiente, la cristalización. La cristalización acelerada
conduce, sin embargo, frecuentemente a un empeoramiento de la
calidad superficial, particularmente en las piezas moldeadas
obtenidas mediante el procedimiento de moldeo por inyección. Por
consiguiente se emplea en las masas de moldeo termoplásticas a
menudo una concentración posiblemente reducida de hollín. Las masas
de moldeo de poliamida 6 reforzadas por fibras de vidrio muestran,
sin embargo, también en porcentajes muy reducidos de hollín (< a
un 0,2%) todavía una transmisión tan pequeña para la luz láser, que
no es posible un soldado de las piezas moldeadas de manera
correspondiente al procedimiento descrito por la
EP-A 0 751 865. Una reducción todavía amplia de la
concentración de hollín conduce ciertamente a un aumento de la
transmisión, que tiende fuertemente, sin embargo, a una impresión
de color uniforme para la totalidad de la pieza de trabajo.
Es deseable una coloración lo más uniformemente
posible del componente de unión de soldado en una calidad
superficial lo más buena posible. La calidad superficial buena
significa en este caso, superficies lisas con un brillo
elevado.
La tarea consistía por lo tanto en encontrar
masas de moldeo transmisoras de láser para la obtención de piezas
moldeadas con calidad superficial elevada, que pueden unirse bien
en el procedimiento de soldado mediante láser con piezas moldeadas
absorbentes de láser, mostrando en una forma de ejecución preferente
ambas piezas moldeadas una apariencia óptica similar en el sentido
de color y de la calidad superficial para el ojo humano.
Se encontró sorprendentemente, que mediante la
combinación de varios colorantes no negros en una masa de moldeo
termoplástica pueden obtenerse piezas moldeadas con una impresión
de color negra (comparable a una coloración con hollín) y calidad
superficial muy buena, cuya transparencia al láser se sitúa en el
intervalo del material no coloreado, y que pueden soldarse, por
consiguiente, bien con un componente de unión absorbente del
láser.
La combinación del colorante es de seleccionarse
para los cuerpos moldeados coloreados de forma negra, de forma que
penetra el rayo láser, de manera que la transmisión en el intervalo
espectral de VIS es (intervalo de longitudes de onda de la luz de
400 nm hasta 700 nm) en intervalos parciales espectrales < de un
10% y en el intervalo de NIR (intervalo de longitudes de onda de la
luz de 700 nm hasta 1200 nm) > que un 10%. Preferentemente
tendría que ascender la transmisión de láser en el NIR > de un
20% y la transmisión en el VIS < de un 5%, particularmente
preferente < de un 1% (VIS) y > de un 30% (NIR).
Los colorantes se combinan de manera que en el
empleo en una matriz no difusora ascienda la extinción en 1 mm de
espesor de capa en el intervalo de VIS a E\geq2 y en el intervalo
de NIR a E\leq2. Preferentemente asciende la extinción en 1 mm de
espesor de capa en el intervalo de VIS E>2,5 en E<1 en el
intervalo de NIR y particularmente preferente E>3 en el intervalo
de VIS en E<0,1 en el intervalo de NIR.
El objeto de la invención son masas de moldeo
termoplásticas, como se definen en la reivindicación 1.
Preferentes son masas de moldeo, que proporcionan
en el intervalo de la luz apreciable (400 nm hasta 700 nm) al menos
en un espesor de capa, que puede situarse en el intervalo de 0,4
hasta 5 mm, muestran una reducida o ninguna transmisión (\leq un
5%) y en el intervalo de longitudes de onda de 700 nm hasta 1200 nm
al menos en secciones parciales espectrales transmisiones de > de
un 20% y la masas de moldeo una impresión de color oscura (valor de
color normalizado Y < 30, preferentemente Y < 20,
particularmente preferente Y < 10).
Particularmente preferentes son masas de moldeo,
que muestran en el intervalo de la luz visible (400 nm hasta 700
nm) en al menos un espesor de capa, que puede situarse en el
intervalo de 0,4 hasta 5 mm, una reducida o ninguna transmisión
(\leq de un 1%) y en el intervalo de longitudes de onda de 700 nm
hasta 1200 nm secciones parciales espectrales una transmisión de
> de un 30% y proporcionan una impresión de color oscura (valor
de color normal
Y < 30, preferentemente Y < 20, particularmente preferente Y < 10).

La solución es aplicable sobre poliamidas y
poliésteres parcialmente aromáticos.
Las poliamidas según la invención pueden
obtenerse según procedimientos diversos y sintetizarse a partir de
componentes diferentes y en el caso de empleo especial solo o
dotarse en combinación con agentes auxiliares de elaboración,
estabilizantes, precursores de aleación polímeros (por ejemplo,
elastómeros) o también materiales reforzantes (como, por ejemplo,
cargas minerales o fibras de vidrio), para dar materiales con
especiales combinaciones de propiedad ajustadas. Son también
adecuadas mezclas con porcentajes de otros polímeros, por ejemplo,
de polietileno, polipropileno y ABS. Las propiedades de las
poliamidas pueden mejorarse mediante adición de elastómeros, por
ejemplo, referente a la resiliencia de, por ejemplo, poliamidas
reforzadas. El gran número de las posibilidades de combinación
posibilita un gran número de productos con propiedades
diversas.
Para la obtención de poliamidas se conoce un gran
número de procedimientos, empleándose, en función del producto
terminal deseado, componentes monómeros diferentes, reguladores de
cadenas diversos para el ajuste del peso molecular perseguido o
también monómeros con grupos reactivos para tratamientos más tarde
deseados.
Los procedimientos técnicamente relevantes para
la obtención de poliamidas transcurren sin excepción durante la
policondensación en la fusión. En este marco se entiende también la
polimerización hidrolítica de lactamas como policondensación.
Las poliamidas preferentes son poliamidas
parcialmente cristalinas, que pueden obtenerse a partir de diaminas
y ácidos dicarboxílicos y/o lactamas con al menos 5 eslabones de
anillo o aminoácidos correspondientes.
Como productos de partida entran en consideración
ácidos dicarboxílicos alifáticos y/o aromáticos, como ácido
adípico, ácido 2,2,4- y 2,4,4-trimetiladípico,
ácido acelaico, ácido sebácico, ácido isoftálico, ácido
tereftálico, diaminas alifáticas y/o aromáticas, como, por ejemplo,
hexametilendiamina, 1,9-nonandiamina, 2,2,4- y
2,4,4-trimetilhexametilendiamina, los
diamino-diciclohexilmetanos isómeros,
diaminodiciclohexilpropanos, bisaminometilciclohexano,
fenilendiaminas, xililendiaminas, ácidos aminocarboxílicos, como,
por ejemplo, ácido aminocapróico o bien las correspondientes
lactamas. Se incluyen las copoliamidas formadas por varios de los
monómeros citados.
Particularmente preferente se emplean
caprolactamas, muy particularmente preferente
\varepsilon-caprolactama.
Particularmente adecuados son además PA6, PA66 y
otras poliamidas y copoliamidas alifáticas o/y aromáticas, las
cuales surgen de un grupo poliamida en la cadena polímera 3 a 11
grupos metileno.
Las poliamidas obtenidas según la invención
pueden emplearse también en mezcla con otras poliamidas y/u otros
polímeros.
Pueden contener adicionalmente las masas de
moldeo de poliamida todavía agentes ignífugos, como, por ejemplo,
compuestos de fósforo, compuestos de halógeno orgánicos, compuestos
de nitrógeno y/o hidróxido de magnesio, estabilizantes, agentes
auxiliares de elaboración, como, por ejemplo, lubricantes, agentes
de nucleización, estabilizantes, modificadores de la resiliencia,
como, por ejemplo, cauchos o poliolefinas, y similares, bajo la
condición que estos no muestren una absorción demasiado fuerte en el
intervalo de longitudes de onda del láser empleado.
Como productos de refuerzo en forma de fibra
además de las fibras de vidrio entran en consideración fibras de
aramida, fibras minerales y Whisker. Como cargas minerales
adecuadas se citan de forma ejemplificativa carbonato de calcio,
dolomita, sulfato de calcio, mica, mica de flúor, volastonita, talco
y caolín. Para la mejora de las propiedades mecánicas pueden
tratarse superficialmente los productos de refuerzo fibrosos y las
cargas minerales.
La adición de las cargas puede llevarse a cabo
antes, durante o después de la polimerización de los monómeros para
dar poliamida. Si se lleva a cabo la adición de las cargas según la
invención después de la polimerización, de manera que se lleva a
cabo, preferentemente mediante adición a la fusión de poliamida en
una extrusora. Si se lleva a cabo la adición de las cargas según la
invención antes o durante de la polimerización, de manera que puede
comprender la polimerización fases, en las cuales se trabaja en
presencia de un 1 hasta un 50% en peso de agua.
Las cargas pueden presentarse en la adición ya
como partículas con tamaños de partículas aparentando finalmente
en la masa de moldeo. De manera alternativa pueden agregarse las
cargas en forma de etapas previas, en las cuales se forman las
partículas aparentadas finalmente en la masa de moldeo primero en
el transcurso de la adición o bien de la incorporación.
Como agente ignífugo entran en consideración, por
ejemplo, fósforo rojo (DE-A-3 713
746 A 1 (=US-A-4 877 823) y
EP-A-299 444
(=US-A-5 081 222), difenilos
bromados o difeniléteres en combinación con trióxido de antimonio e
hidrocarburos cicloalifáticos clorados (Dechlorane® plus de la firma
Occidental Chemical Co), oligómeros de estireno bromados (por
ejemplo, en la DE-A-2 703 419) y
poliestirenos nucleobromados (por ejemplo, Pyro-Chek
68® de la firma FERRO Chemicals).
Como sinergia a los compuestos de halógeno
citados se emplean, por ejemplo, compuestos de cinc u óxidos de
hierro.
Como otra alternativa tienen que citarse sales de
melamina como agente ignífugo, particularmente para poliamidas no
reforzadas.
Tiene que mencionarse además hidróxido de
magnesio como agente ignífugo para poliamida desde hace mucho
tiempo.
Las masas de moldeo de poliamida pueden contener
además de fibras de vidrio adicionalmente polímeros cauchoelásticos
(denominado a menudo también como modificador de la resiliencia,
elastómeros o cauchos).
Los poliésteres termoplásticos según la invención
se escogen del grupo de los derivados de los
polialquilidentereftalatos, preferentemente escogidos del grupo de
los polietilentereftalatos, de los politrimetilentereftalatos y de
los polibutilentereftalatos, particularmente preferente de los
polibutilentereftalatos y muy particularmente preferente del
polibutilentereftalato.
Por poliésteres parcialmente aromáticos se
entienden materiales, que contienen además de partes moleculares
aromáticas también partes moleculares alifáticas.
Los polialquilentereftalatos en el sentido de la
invención son productos de reacción, formados por ácidos
dicarboxílicos aromáticos o sus derivados aptos para la reacción
(por ejemplo, ésteres dimetílicos o anhídridos) y dioles
alifáticos, cicloalifáticos o aralifáticos y mezclas de estos
productos de reacción.
Los polialquilentereftalatos preferentes pueden
obtenerse a partir del ácido tereftálico (o de sus derivados
capaces de reaccionar) y dioles alifáticos o cicloalifáticos con 2
a 10 átomos de carbono según métodos conocidos
(Kunststoff-Handbuch, tomo VIII, página 695 y
siguientes, Karl-Hanser-Verlag,
Munich 1973).
Los polialquilentereftalatos preferentes
contienen al menos un 80, preferentemente un 90% en mol, referido
al ácido dicarboxílico, restos del ácido tereftálico y al menos un
80, preferentemente al menos un 90% en mol, referido al componente
diol, restos de etilenglicol y/o de propanodiol-1,3
y/o butanodiol-1,4.
Los polialquilentereftalatos preferentes pueden
contener además de restos del ácido tereftálico hasta un 20% en mol
de restos de otros ácidos dicarboxílicos aromáticos con 8 a 14
átomos de carbono o ácidos dicarboxílicos alifáticos con 4 a 12
átomos de carbono, como restos del ácido ftálico, ácido isoftálico,
ácido naftalin-2,6-dicarboxílico,
ácido 4,4'-difenildicarboxílico, ácido succínico,
adípico, sebácico, acelaico y/o ciclohexanodiacético.
Los polialquilentereftalatos preferentes pueden
contener además de restos etilen- o bien
propanodiol-1,3 o bien
butanodiol-1,4-glicol hasta un 20%
en mol de otros dioles alifáticos con 3 a 12 átomos de carbono o
dioles cicloalifáticos con 6 a 21 átomos de carbono, por ejemplo,
restos de propanodiol-1,3,
2-etilpropanodiol-1,3,
neopentilglicol, pentanodiol-1,5,
hexanodiol-1,6,
ciclohexanodimetanol-1,4,
3-metilpentanodiol-2,4,
2-metilpentanodiol-2,4,

Los polialquilentereftalatos pueden ramificarse
por la incorporación de cantidades relativamente pequeñas de
alcoholes tri- o tetravalentes o ácidos carboxílicos tri- o
tetrabásicos, como se describen, por ejemplo, por las
DE-A 19 00 270 y US-A 3 692 744.
Los ejemplos para los agentes de ramificación preferentes son ácido
trimésico, ácido trimelítico, trimetiloletano y -propano y
pentaeritrita.
Es preferente el empleo de no más que un 1% en
mol del agente de ramificación, referente al componente ácido.
Particularmente preferentes son
polialquilentereftalatos, que se obtuvieron solo a partir de ácido
tereftálico y sus derivados aptos de reacción (por ejemplo sus
restos dialquilo) y etilenglicol y/o propanodiol-1,3
y/o butanodiol-1,4 (polietilen- y
polibutilentereftalato), y mezclas, constituidas por estos
polialquilentereftalatos.
Los polialquilentereftalatos preferentes son
también copoliésteres, que se obtienen a partir de al menos dos de
los componentes ácido anteriormente citados y/o a partir de al
menos dos de los componentes alcohol anteriormente citados,
particularmente preferentes copoliésteres del ácido
poli-(etilenglicol/butanodiol-1,4)-tereftálico.
Los polialquilentereftalatos muestran
generalmente una viscosidad intrínseca de aproximadamente 0,4 hasta
1,5, preferentemente de 0,5 hasta 1,3, respectivamente determinado
en fenol/o-diclorobenceno (1:1 partes en peso) a
25ºC.
Pueden contener además los poliésteres
parcialmente aromáticos aditivos, como, por ejemplo, cargas y
agentes reforzantes, como, por ejemplo, fibras de vidrio o cargas
minerales, agentes protectores contra las llamas, agentes
auxiliares de elaboración, estabilizantes, agentes auxiliares de la
fluencia, productos antiestáticos y demás aditivos habituales.
Como cargas fibrosas o en forma de partículas y
productos reforzantes para las masas de moldeo según la invención
pueden agregarse, entre otras cosas, fibras de vidrio, esferas de
vidrio, tejidos de vidrio, esteras de vidrio, fibras de aramida,
fibras de titanato potásico, fibras naturales, ácido silícico
amorfo, carbonato de magnesio, sulfato de bario, feldespato, mica,
silicatos, cuarzo, talco, caolín, volastonita, que también pueden
ser tratados superficialmente. Los productos reforzantes
preferentes son fibras de vidrio corrientes en el comercio. Las
fibras de vidrio, que tienen generalmente un diámetro de fibra
entre 8 y 18 \mum, pueden agregarse como fibras continuas o como
fibras de vidrio cortadas o molidas, pudiéndose dotar las fibras con
un sistema de encolado adecuado y un compatibilizante o bien
sistema de compatibilizantes, por ejemplo, a base de silano.
Son también adecuadas cargas minerales en forma
de agujas. Por cargas minerales en forma de agujas se entiende en
el sentido de la invención una carga mineral con estructura en
forma de aguja fuertemente caracterizada. Como ejemplo se cita
volastonita en forma de agujas. Preferentemente muestra el mineral
una proporción de L/D-(proporción longitud/diámetro) de 8:1 hasta
35:1, preferentemente de 8:1 hasta 11:1. La carga mineral puede ser
tratada superficialmente si se desea.
Preferentemente contiene agregados la masa de
moldeo de poliéster de 0 hasta 50 partes en peso, preferentemente
de 0 hasta 40, particularmente de 10 hasta 30 partes en peso de
cargas y/o reforzantes. Pueden emplearse si se desea masas de
moldeo de poliéster sin cargas y/o productos de refuerzo.
Como agentes ignífugos son adecuados compuestos
orgánicos o compuestos de halógeno corrientes en el comercio con
compuestos de nitrógeno orgánicos sinérgicos o corrientes en el
comercio o compuestos de fósforo orgánicos/inorgánicos. También
pueden emplearse aditivos ignífugos minerales, como hidróxido de
magnesio o hidratos de carbonato de Ca-Mg (por
ejemplo, DE-A 4 236 122). Como compuestos, que
contienen halógeno, particularmente bromados o clorados se citan de
manera ejemplificativa:
etilen-1,2-bis-tetrabromoftalimida,
tetrabromobisfenol epoxidado, resina A,
tetrabrombisfenol-A-oligocarbonato,
tetraclorobisfenol-A-oligocarbonato,
pentabromopoliacrilato y poliestireno bromado. Como compuestos de
fósforo orgánicos son adecuados los compuestos de fósforo según la
WO 98/17720, por ejemplo, trifenilfosfato (TPP)
resorcinol-bis-(difenilfosfato) incluyendo
oligómeros (RDP) así como
bisfenol-A-bis-difenilfosfato
incluyendo oligómeros (BDP), fosfato de melamina, pirofosfato de
melamina, polifosfato de melamina y sus mezclas. Como compuestos de
nitrógeno entran en consideración particularmente melamina y
cianurato de melamina. Como sinérgicos son adecuados, por ejemplo,
compuestos de antimonio, particularmente trióxido de antimonio y
pentóxido de antimonio, compuestos de cinc, compuestos de estaño,
como, por ejemplo, estanoato de estaño y boratos. Pueden agregarse
formadores de carbono y/o polímeros de tetrafluoretileno.
Los poliésteres parcialmente aromáticos según la
invención pueden contener aditivos habituales, como agente contra
la descomposición térmica, agentes contra la reticulación por
calor, agente contra el deterioro por luz ultravioleta,
plastificantes, lubricantes y agente de desmoldeo, agente de
nucleización, productos antiestáticos, en caso dado, otros
estabilizantes.
Las masas de moldeo de poliéster parcialmente
aromáticas según la invención se obtienen, de manera tal que se
mezclan los respectivos componentes de manera conocida y se
componen o extrusionan por fusión a temperaturas de 200ºC hasta
330ºC en agregados habituales, como, por ejemplo, amasadoras
internas, extrusoras y en husillos dobles. En la etapa de
composición o de extrusión en fusión pueden agregarse otros
aditivos, como, por ejemplo, reforzantes, estabilizantes,
lubricantes y agentes de desmoldeo, agentes de nucleización y demás
aditivos.
Como ejemplos para el retardo de la oxidación y
estabilizantes térmicos se citan fenoles estéricamente impedidos
y/o fosfitos, hidroquinonas, aminas secundarias aromáticas, como
difenilaminas, representantes substituidos diversos de estos grupos
y de sus mezclas en concentraciones de hasta un 1% en peso,
referido al peso de las masas de moldeo termoplásticas.
Como estabilizantes de UV, que se emplean
generalmente en cantidades de hasta un 2% en peso, referido a la
masa de moldeo, se citan resorcinas substituidas diversas,
salicilatos, benzotriazoles y benzofenonas.
Pueden agregarse pigmentos inorgánicos, como
dióxido de titanio, azul ultramarino, óxido de hierro y hollín,
además pigmentos orgánicos, como ftalocianinas, quinacridona,
perilenos así como colorantes, como nigrosina y antraquinona como
colorante así como otros colorantes, en el caso de que no se
absorban en el intervalo del láser empleado. En caso contrario
pueden agregarse los mismos solo en cantidades reducidas, en las
que sea posible todavía una transmisión parcial de la luz
láser.
Como agentes de formación de gérmenes pueden
emplearse, por ejemplo, fenilfosfinato sódico, óxido de aluminio,
dióxido de silicio así como preferentemente talco.
Los lubricantes y agentes de desmoldeo se emplean
habitualmente en cantidades de hasta un 1%, son preferentes ceras
de éster, estearato de pentaeritrita (PETS), ácidos grasos de
cadenas largas (por ejemplo, ácido esteárico o ácido behénico), sus
sales (por ejemplo, estearato de calcio o de cinc) así como
derivados de amida (por ejemplo,
etilen-bis-estearilamida), o ceras
de montana así como cetas de polietileno o bien polipropileno de
bajo peso molecular.
Como ejemplos para plastificantes se citan éster
dioctílico del ácido ftálico, éster dibencílico del ácido ftálico,
éster butilbencílico del ácido ftálico, aceites de hidrocarburos y
N-(n-butil)bencenosulfonamida.
Particularmente preferente es el empleo adicional
de polímeros cauchoelásticos (a menudo denominados también como
modificantes a la resiliencia, elastómero o caucho).
Muy generalmente se trata en este caso de
copolímeros, que se forman preferentemente por al menos dos de los
monómeros siguientes: etileno, propileno, butadieno, isobuteno,
isopreno, cloropreno, acetato de vinilo, estireno, acrilonitrilo y
éster del ácido acrílico o bien metacrílico con 1 a 18 átomos de
carbono en el componente alcohol.
Los polímeros de este tipo se describen, por
ejemplo, en Houben-Weyl, Methoden der Organischen
Chemie, tomo 14/1
(Georg-Thieme-Verlag), Stuttgart,
1961), páginas 392 hasta 406 y en la monografía de C.B. Bucknall,
"Toughened Plastics" (Applied Science Publishers, London,
1977).
Pueden emplearse además también mezclas de tipos
de caucho.
Como colorante sirven bien pigmentos orgánicos
como también inorgánicos y/o colorantes. El hollín es, en caso
dado, en muy pequeñas cantidades (preferentemente < de un 0,2%
en peso), un componente de la mezcla pigmentaria. Los
pigmentos/colorantes y/o hollines pueden emplearse también como
tanda.
Los ejemplos para pigmentos inorgánicos son
trióxido de antimonio, pentóxido de antimonio, bicarbonato básico,
sulfato o silicato de plomo básico, litopón, dióxido de titanio
(anatasa, rutilo), óxido de cinc, sulfuro de cinc, óxidos
metálicos, como azul berlina, cromo de plomo, sulfocromato de plomo,
titanato de antimonio de cromo, óxido de cromo, óxido de hierro,
azul cobalto, azul de cromo de cobalto, gris de cobalto de níquel,
azul manganeso, violeta manganeso, naranja de molibdeno, rojo
molibdeno, antimonio-titanato de níquel, azul
ultramarino así como sulfuros de metal, como trisulfuro de
antimonio, sulfuro de cadmio, sulfoseleniuro de cadmio, silicatos
de circonio, azul de vanadio de circonio, amarillo praseodimio de
circonio.
Los ejemplos para pigmentos orgánicos son
pigmentos de antraquinona, azóicos, azometino, benzantrona,
quinacridona, quinoftalona, dioxacina, flavantrona, indantrona,
isoindolina, isoindolinona, metina, perinona, perileno,
ftalocianina, pirantrona, pirrolopirrol, tioíndigo así como
complejos metálicos de, por ejemplo, colorantes azóicos, de
azometina, metina o sales metálicas de compuestos azóicos.
Como colorantes azóicos sirven, por ejemplo,
colorantes de dispersión, como aquellos de la serie de
antraquinona, por ejemplo, antraquinonas de alquilamino, de amino,
de arilamino, de ciclohexilamino, de hidroxi, de hidroxiamino o de
fenilmercapto, así como complejos metálicos de colorantes azóicos,
particularmente complejos de 1:2-cromo o cobalto de
colorantes monoazóicos, así como colorantes fluorescentes, por
ejemplo, aquellos formados por la serie benztriazol, cumarina o
tiacina.
Los colorantes solubles en polímeros pueden
emplearse también en combinaciones en rellenos y/o pigmentos,
particularmente con pigmentos inorgánicos, como dióxido de
titanio.
Pueden emplearse según la invención pigmentos y/o
colorantes solubles en polímeros. Los colorantes o pigmentos
empleados pueden mostrar en el intervalo espectral de NIR ninguna o
solo una muy reducida absorción y deben de ser compatibles con los
polímeros termoplásticos empleados según la invención.
Los aditivos pigmentarios adecuados son, por
ejemplo, ácidos grasos con al menos 12 átomos de carbono, como
ácido behénico o ácido esteárico, sus amidas, sales o ésteres, como
estearato de aluminio, estearato de magnesio, estearato de cinc o
behenato de magnesio, así como compuestos de amonio cuaternarios,
como sales de trialquilbencilamonio con 1 a 4 átomos de carbono,
alquilbencilamónicas, ceras, como cera de polietileno, ácidos de
resina, como ácido abietínico, jabones de colofonia, colofonia
hidrogenada o dimerizada, ácidos parafindisulfónicos con 12 a 18
átomos de carbono o alquilfenoles.
Preferentes según la invención son colorantes del
tipo pirazolona, perinona y antraquinona, además del tipo
metina-azóico y cumarina.
Igualmente preferentes son los pigmentos, que
contienen metales, como los pigmentos inorgánicos y los complejos
metálicos de colorantes azóicos, de azometina o de metina,
colorantes de azometina, quinacridona, dioxacina, isoindolina,
perileno, ftalocianina, pirrolopirrol y tioíndigo y vanadato de
bismuto.
Otro objeto de la solicitud son piezas moldeadas,
formadas por masas de moldeo termoplásticas según la invención y el
empleo de la masa de moldeo según la invención para la obtención de
piezas moldeadas, que se unen mediante soldado mediante láser con
otras piezas moldeadas.
Otra finalidad son piezas moldeadas unidas, que
se unieron mediante soldado mediante láser y en las cuales consiste
al menos una parte de la masa de moldeo termoplástica según la
invención.
El PA 6 no reforzado (Durethan B30S, producto
comercial de la firma Bayer AG, Leverkusen, Alemania, viscosidad
relativa=3,0) o bien PA 6 reforzado mediante fibras de vidrio
(Durethan BKV30, producto comercial de la firma Bayer AG,
Leverkusen, Alemania, viscosidad relativa=3,0) y PA 66 reforzado por
fibras de vidrio (Durethan AKV 30, producto comercial de la firma
Bayer AG, Leverkusen, Alemania, viscosidad relativa=3,0) se
mezclaron con hollín (ensayos comparativos, empleo de tandas
principales) o bien mezclas de colorantes orgánicos físicamente y
se colorearon homogéneamente mediante composición en una extrusora
de dos husillos (ZSK 32 de la firma Werner & Pfleiderer) a
temperaturas de masa de 260 hasta 300ºC. La fusión se hiló a
continuación mediante un baño de agua y se granuló. Todas las
determinaciones de viscosidad se llevaron a cabo en
m-cresol (solución al 1%, T=25ºC).
El granulado obtenido se elaboró en una máquina
de moldeo por inyección del tipo Arburg
320-210-500 bajo condiciones
habituales para masas de moldeo (temperaturas de masa de 250 hasta
290ºC, temperaturas del útil de 70 hasta 90ºC) para las mediciones
de transmisión de láser y ensayos de soldado para dar placas de
muestra de color de 2 mm o bien 4 mm (60 mm x 40 mm).
Los ejemplos para la composición y propiedades de
las masas de moldeo según la invención o bien del material
comparativo están indicados en las tablas 1 a 4.
\small\dotable{\tabskip\tabcolsep#\hfil\+#\hfil\tabskip0ptplus1fil\dddarstrut\cr}{ ^{1)} \+ \begin{minipage}[t]{145mm}PA6 con la viscosidad = 3,0, producto comercial de la firma Bayer AG, Leverkusen, Alemania, al cual pueden incorporarse por mezcla aditivos habituales en cantidades habituales y concentraciones constantes (de un 0,01 hasta un 0,5%) como agente de nucleización (microtalco), estabilizante térmico (CuI/KBr) y un agente de desmoldeo (cera de éster de Montana),\end{minipage} \cr ^{2)} \+ \begin{minipage}[t]{150mm}cantidad de hollín absoluta en% en peso; se empleó una tanda principal de UN2014 al 50% de la firma Cabot,\end{minipage} \cr ^{3)} \+ \begin{minipage}[t]{150mm}CS 7928; producto comercial de la firma Bayer AG, Leverkusen, Alemania,\end{minipage} \cr ^{4)} \+ \begin{minipage}[t]{150mm}Producto comercial de la firma Bayer AG, colorante de pirazolona, Solvent Yellow 93, índice de color 48160,\end{minipage} \cr ^{5)} \+ \begin{minipage}[t]{150mm} producto comercial de la firma Bayer AG, colorante de perinona, Solvent Red 135,\end{minipage} \cr ^{6)} \+ \begin{minipage}[t]{150mm}producto comercial de la firma Bayer AG, colorante de antraquinona, Solvent Green 3, índice de color 61565.\end{minipage} \cr}
Las placas de muestra, formadas por el material
absorbente del láser de IR y por el material transparente al láser
de IR se midieron con una disposición de transmisión, que consiste
en un fotómetro espectral y una esfera fotométrica, que recoge bien
la luz transmitida de forma directa como también la luz dispersa.
Para las muestras absorbentes del láser de IR se obtienen en el
intervalo espectral de NIR entre 800 y 1200 nm valores de medición
de < de un 0,1%, mientras que el material transparente al láser
de IR muestra un nivel de transmisión de típicamente un 20 hasta un
70%.

Como se trata en el caso de todas las muestras de
un material muy fuertemente disperso, se evaluó la totalidad de la
transmisión como suma de la transmisión directa y difusa.
Las muestras correspondientes a los ejemplos
comparativos muestran en 1000 nm y en el intervalo de longitudes de
ondas adyacente prácticamente ninguna transmisión sino una
absorción casi completa, mientras que las muestras teñidas según la
invención ejemplos 1 a 4 muestran una transmisión todavía elevada,
siendo esto la totalidad de la transmisión (que consiste
mayoritariamente en porcentajes de irradiación difusa). Los valores
de medida para la transmisión de las muestras teñidas según la
invención se encuentran tan solo insignificantemente entre los
valores, que se determinaron para el material no coloreado
comparación 5 y 6.
De manera adicional a la medición de las muestras
de PA se determinó la transmisión de placas de muestras de color
con 1 y 4 mm de espesor, formadas por policarbonato y tiñeron con
combinaciones de colorantes según la invención correspondientemente
al ejemplo 1 y 2. Como material de referencia sirvió policarbonato
no coloreado. De no tratarse con policarbonato ninguna dispersión,
podrá determinarse aquí un coeficiente de extinción
independientemente del espesor de la capa, que se sitúa en ambas
coloraciones investigadas según la invención para el intervalo
espectral de VIS (400 nm hasta 700 nm) en E>4 y para el
intervalo espectral de NIR (700 nm hasta 1200 nm) en E<0.002.
Para el ensayo de la calificación de la idoneidad
de las masas de moldeo para el soldado mediante láser se llevaron a
cabo ensayos de soldado con un láser Nd-Yag. Las
placas de muestra transparentes al rayo láser se serraron a una
anchura de 20 mm.
Las muestras se fijaron en un dispositivo y
juntaron entre sí en la unión T, como se aprecia en la ilustración
1. Las muestras de 2 mm se soldaron con aproximadamente 20 vatios
con 6 mm/s y 2 scanns y los 4 mm de muestra con aproximadamente 35
vatios y 4 scans.
Un scan significa la pasada de la anchura al
completo de la muestra con irradiación láser activada.
Las muestras soldadas como choque T se cargaron
como en la ilustración 2 en un ensayo de tracción hasta la
rotura.
La fuerza medida en este caso se transcalculó a
través de la superficie de soldado a la resistencia a la tracción.
Los valores de resistencia individuales se sitúan en un nivel
bueno.
- \text{*} Como material 1 se entiende, en este caso, la pieza moldeada/material que entran en contacto primero con el rayo láser.
La valoración de la calidad superficial se llevó
a cabo mediante medición del brillo en placas rectangulares
inyectadas en la media sobre la mazarota (155x75x2 mm^{3}). Para
la diferenciación mejorada se acabaron las placas con velocidades
de inyección diversas, creciendo según la invención la calidad
superficial, es decir, sobre todo el brillo superficial, de PA 6 no
reforzado y de PA 6 reforzados por fibras de vidrio en tales
condiciones de elaboración mantenidas de forma constante con
velocidad de inyección ascendente. A partir de la tabla 4 se
aprecia claramente, que con las masas de moldeo de poliamida
coloreadas según la invención con velocidades de inyección bajas,
resultan placas con brillo superficial elevado como con masas de
moldeo, que se colorean con colorantes tradicionales (hollín).
La valoración de la impresión de color oscura se
llevó a cabo mediante caracterización colorística de las placas
rectangulares obtenidas a una velocidad de inyección de 50 mm/s con
un fotómetro de espectral Ultra Scan XL de la firma Hunter. Las
determinaciones de reflexión se llevaron a cabo en alumbrado de
muestras policromáticas con la geometría de medición 0º/8º con
brillo para el tipo de luz normalizado D65/10º según DIN 5033. Como
oscuro se encontraron colores con valores de color normalizados
Y<30, preferentemente <20, particularmente preferente
<10.
Claims (5)
1. Masas de moldeo termoplásticas, que se
colorean con combinaciones de al menos dos colorantes de manera que
resulta una impresión de color oscura (es decir, un valor de color
normalizado de Y<30) de la masa de moldeo y que no se produce en
el intervalo de la luz visible (400 nm hasta 700 nm) a un espesor de
capa, que se sitúa en el intervalo de 0,4 hasta 5 mm, una reducida
o ninguna transmisión (es decir, una transmisión de \leq un 10%)
y se produce en el intervalo de longitudes de onda de 700 nm hasta
1200 nm al menos en intervalos parciales espectrales una
transmisión de > de un 10% con irradiaciones con luz láser,
seleccionándose las combinaciones de los colorantes de tipo
pirazolona, perinona y antraquinona, metino, azóico y del tipo
cumarina y/o pigmentos, que contienen metales, como pigmentos
inorgánicos y complejos metálicos de colorantes azóicos, azometina
o metina, del tipo azometina, quinacridona, dioxacina, isoindolina,
perileno, ftalocianina, pirrolopirrol y del tipo tioíndigo y
vanadato de bismuto, y conteniendo las masas de moldeo poliamidas o
poliésteres parcialmente aromáticos.
2. Piezas moldeadas, formadas por masas de moldeo
termoplásticas, según la reivindicación 1.
3. Empleo de masas de moldeo según la
reivindicación 1 para la obtención de piezas moldeadas, que se unen
por soldado mediante láser con otras piezas moldeadas.
4. Piezas moldeadas unidas, que se unen por
soldado mediante láser, y en las cuales consiste al menos una parte
en una masa de moldeo termoplástica según la reivindicación 1.
5. Masas de moldeo termoplásticas según la
reivindicación 1, que contienen de un 10 hasta un 60% en peso de
fibras de vidrio.
