Claims (5)
- 前面が開口したハウジングに上記前面開口を覆うようにレンズをレーザー溶着により固定する車輌用灯具の製造方法において、
レーザー光はレーザーヘッドから射出された状態から径が絞られていって、ハウジングの溶着面で所定のスポット径となるように制御され、
レーザー溶着にあたっては、先ずロボットを用いてレーザー光走査方向のティーチングを行い、次に全周に亘ってレーザー透過部及び溶着部が形成されたレンズの上記溶着部をハウジングの全周に亘って形成された溶着部に当接させ、
レーザー透過部を備えた押さえ治具によってレンズを押圧してレンズの溶着部をハウジングの溶着部に当接させ、
レンズの溶着部とハウジングの溶着部とが当接された箇所にレーザー光を照射する際に、少なくともその一部において押さえ治具のレーザー透過部及びレンズのレーザー透過部を透過してレーザー光が照射され、
上記押さえ治具のレーザー透過部及びレンズのレーザー透過部を透過してレーザー光が照射される部分の連続する区画において、上記押さえ治具のレーザー透過部の肉厚とレンズのレーザー透過部の肉厚との和がレーザー光走査方向においてほぼ一定である
ことを特徴とする車輌用灯具の製造方法。 - 曲面を備えているレンズ表面のほぼ全面が押さえ治具の面当て部によって面接触された状態で、レンズがハウジングの方へ押圧されて、レンズの溶着部がハウジングの溶着部に当接される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輌用灯具の製造方法。 - 押さえ治具の全周縁部に形成された位置決め部によってレンズの周縁部が位置決めされた状態で、レンズの溶着部がハウジングの溶着部に当接される
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の車輌用灯具の製造方法。 - 押さえ治具はレンズの材料と屈折率が近似した材料によって形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1、請求項2又は請求項3に記載の車輌用灯具の製造方法。 - 前面が開口したハウジングに上記前面開口を覆うようにレンズをレーザー溶着により固定する車輌用灯具の製造装置において、

上記押さえ治具は、レンズの溶着部とハウジングの溶着部とが当接された箇所にレーザー光を照射する際に、少なくともその一部において押さえ治具のレーザー透過部及びレンズのレーザー透過部を透過してレーザー光が照射されるように成されると共に、上記押さえ治具のレーザー透過部及びレンズのレーザー透過部を透過してレーザー光が照射される部分の連続する区画において、押さえ治具のレーザー透過部の肉厚とレンズのレーザー透過部の肉厚との和がレーザー光走査方向においてほぼ一定となるようにされた
ことを特徴とする車輌用灯具の製造装置。
