Abstract

Un método para fabricar almohadillas rellenas de aire para embalajes, partiendo de una bobina de material laminar premoldeado, que presenta un canal para inyectar el aire dispuesto longitudinalmente, así como una serie cámaras que se pueden inflar y están comunicadas con el canal de inyección a través de pasos de entrada situados lateralmente; el método comprende los siguientes pasos: hacer avanzar una bobina de material laminar premoldeado a lo largo de una vía, inflar las cámaras que presenta el material mediante el canal de inyección a medida que el material se desplaza por la vía, y hacer pasar el material laminar por la periferia de un rodillo sellador y en contacto deslizante directo con un elemento sellador por calor para sellar herméticamente los pasos de entrada de aire.

Claims (35)

1. Un método para fabricar almohadillas rellenas de aire para embalajes, partiendo de una bobina de material laminar premoldeado, que presenta un canal para inyectar el aire dispuesto longitudinalmente, así como una serie cámaras que se pueden inflar y están comunicadas con el canal de inyección a través de pasos de entrada situados lateralmente; el método comprende los siguientes pasos: hacer avanzar una bobina de material laminar premoldeado a lo largo de una vía, inflar las cámaras que presenta el material mediante el canal de inyección a medida que el material se desplaza por la vía, y hacer pasar el material laminar por la periferia de un rodillo sellador y en contacto deslizante directo con un elemento sellador por calor para sellar herméticamente los pasos de entrada de aire.
2. El método de la Reivindicación 1, incluyendo el paso de inyectar aire desde el canal de inyección a través de los pasos de entrada de aire que están comunicados con el canal de inyección.
3. El método de la Reivindicación 2, mediante el que se inyecta aire a través de los pasos de entrada de aire a medida que el material laminar pasa por la periferia del rodillo sellador.
4. El método de la Reivindicación 2 o la Reivindicación 3, mediante el que se inyecta aire a través de los pasos de entrada para evitar que se produzca una presión excesiva en el canal de inyección y en las almohadillas infladas.
5. El método de las Reivindicaciones 2 a 4, mediante el que se controla el aire inyectado a través de los pasos de entrada de aire, para determinar la cantidad de almohadillas que se han fabricado.
6. El método de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores, mediante el que se hace avanzar el material laminar enganchando el mismo con los primero y segundo pares de rodillos estiradores, estando el primer par en un punto de la vía anterior a donde se inflan las cámaras, y el segundo par en un punto posterior al elemento sellador,
7. El método de la Reivindicación 6, mediante el que los rodillos estiradores del segundo par giran a una velocidad mayor que los rodillos estiradores del primer par, con el objeto de mantener la tensión del material laminar mientras que se inflan las cámaras y se están sellando los pasos de entrada de aire.
8. El método de cualquiera de la reivindicaciones anteriores, mediante el que se envuelve el material laminar alrededor de una parte de la superficie periférica del rodillo sellador, en dirección circular y también en dirección lateral, para crear una zona muerta en la parte en la que se está sellando un paso de entrada de aire.
9. Una máquina para poner en práctica el método de las reivindicaciones anteriores, incluyendo lo siguiente:
mecanismos para hacer avanzar la bobina de material laminar premoldeado a través de la máquina,
mecanismos para introducir aire en las cámaras inflables mediante los canales de inyección de aire, y
un rodillo sellador y un elemento sellador por calor se desplazan uno hacia el otro, con un lado del material laminar envuelto y en contacto alrededor de la superficie periférica del rodillo sellador y el otro lado del material en contacto deslizante directo con el elemento sellador por calor para sellar el material en los puntos de los pasos de entrada de aire, con el objeto de sellar las cámaras infladas.
10. La máquina de la Reivindicación 9, mediante la cual el material laminar se envuelve alrededor de una parte de la superficie periférica del rodillo sellador, tanto en dirección circular como en dirección lateral, con el objeto de crear una zona muerta en la parte en que se encuentra un paso de entrada de aire que se está sellando.
11. La máquina de la Reivindicación 9 o la Reivindicación 10, en la que el rodillo sellador y el elemento sellador por calor se desplazan uno hacia el otro con una fuerza preseleccionada, junto con el mecanismo para regular el valor de la fuerza preseleccionada.
12. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 9 a 11, en la que el rodillo sellador está montado para girar en una posición fija de la máquina, y el elemento sellador por calor se puede desplazar hacia el rodillo sellador o en sentido contrario.
13. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 9 a 11, en la que el elemento sellador por calor está montado en una posición fija de la máquina, y el rodillo sellador se puede mover hacia el elemento sellador por calor o en dirección contraria.
14. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 9 a 13, en la que el elemento sellador por calor tiene unas medidas en la dirección en que avanza el material laminar, que corresponde al ancho de uno de los pasos de entrada de aire del material laminar.
15. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 9 a 14, en la que los medios para introducir aire en las cámaras inflables incluye un tubo que se inserta en el canal para inyectar aire del material laminar, de modo que el aire a presión pueda entrar en el canal; el tubo normalmente presenta un extremo de salida generalmente esférico con un diámetro que es básicamente el mismo que el del canal para inyectar aire, y el extremo de salida del tubo de inyección está revestido exteriormente, lo cual facilita el movimiento deslizante del tubo de inyección dentro del canal para inyectar aire.
16. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 9 a 15, en la que el elemento sellador por calor está formado por un hilo de nicromo recubierto por un tejido y un revestimiento de PTFE del lado del tejido, y que se encuentra acoplado en contacto deslizante con el material laminar.
17. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 9 a 15, en la que el elemento calentador está formado por un hilo de nicromo montado sobre un material cerámico que garantiza el aislamiento contra la disipación de calor por fuera del hilo de nicromo.
18. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 9 a 17, en la que un elemento sellador por calor forma parte de un cartucho removible que va montado en la máquina y se puede extraer y sustituir como elemento unitario sin tener que sustituir ningún componente individual del cartucho.
19. La máquina de la Reivindicación 18, en la que el cartucho presenta una subestructura, una guía con una abertura en un extremo para el elemento sellador por calor, por lo menos un hilo de nicromo montado en la abertura de la guía, una tira de tejido con revestimiento de PTFE y bobinas enrolladoras que van montadas rotativamente en la subestructura, y un mecanismo para hacer girar la bobina enrolladora con el objeto de alimentar el tejido a través del extremo de la guía con el tejido que recubre el hilo de nicromo, el revestimiento de PTFE en contacto deslizante con una superficie del material laminar, y el rodillo sellador que sujeta el material laminar contra el tejido y el hilo de nicromo que está debajo, a medida que el material laminar se desplaza por la máquina.
20. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 9 a 19, en la que el medio para hacer avanzar el material laminar por la máquina está formado por un primer par de rodillos estiradores que enganchan el material antes de que se inflen las cámaras, y un segundo par de rodillos estiradores que enganchan el material laminar después de que se han inflado las cámaras y se han sellado los pasos de entrada de aire.
21. La máquina de la Reivindicación 20, en la que los ejes de rotación de por lo menos el segundo par de rodillos estiradores están inclinados con un cierto ángulo respecto del eje de rotación del rodillo sellador.
22. La máquina de las Reivindicaciones de 20 ó 21, en la que el segundo par de rodillos estiradores puede girar a una velocidad ligeramente superior al primer par de nip Soller, con el propósito de mantener la tensión de la bobina de material laminar entre los dos pares de rodillos estiradores.
23. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 9 a 22, en la que se incluyen los medios para controlar el flujo de aire de los pasos de salida de aire que se comunican con el canal de inyección de aire a medida que el material avanza por la máquina.
24. La máquina de la Reivindicación 23, en la que se incluyen medios que responden al flujo de aire de los pasos de salida de aire, con el propósito de contar el número de almohadillas que se han inflado.
25. La máquina de las Reivindicaciones de 23 ó 24, en la que se incluyen medios que responden al flujo de aire de los pasos de salida de aire, con el propósito de situar la red de película dentro de la máquina.
26. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 23 a 25, en la que se incluyen medios que responden al flujo de aire de los pasos de salida de aire, con el propósito controlar la presión del aire con el que se inflan las cámaras para evitar inflar las almohadillas excesivamente.
27. Una máquina para inflar y sellar un material laminar premoldeado que contiene cámaras inflables en comunicación con un canal para inyectar aire para fabricar almohadillas para embalaje rellenas de aire, y que está formada por: un soporte vertical con una pared lateral que mira de lado, un husillo que va desde la pared lateral en forma volada (sin apoyos) para soportar rotativamente un rollo de material laminar perpendicular a la pared, un mecanismo de alimentación del mismo lado de la pared que el spindle para tirar del rollo de material laminar y hacerlo avanzar a lo largo de la vía que discurre al lado de la pared, con el material normalmente en posición perpendicular respecto de la pared, un inyector de aire que pasa a través de la pared lateral para insertarse en el canal para inyectar aire con el objeto de inflar las cámaras a medida que el material avanza por la vía, y un elemento calentador por fuera de la pared lateral para sellar las cámaras infladas contenidas en el material que se va desplazando.
28. La máquina de la Reivindicación 27, en la que el inyector de aire y el elemento calentador están espaciados verticalmente del rollo de material laminar.
29. La máquina de la Reivindicación 27 o la Reivindicación 28, en la que se incluye una serie de guías estacionarias que discurren lateralmente desde la pared lateral para conducir el material laminar a lo largo de la vía.
30. La máquina de la Reivindicación 29, en la que una de las guías presenta una superficie cilíndrica alrededor de la cual se enrolla el material laminar a medida que éste avanza entre el rodillo y el inyector de aire.
31. La máquina de cualquiera de las Reivindicaciones de 27 a 30, en la que se incluyen medios para descargar las almohadillas de la máquina hacia abajo después de que las cámaras han sido infladas y selladas.
32. Un material laminar a emplear en el proceso de las Reivindicaciones 1 a 8 y la máquina de las Reivindicaciones 9 a 31, que comprende dos capas superpuestas de película plástica sellada entre sí para conformar un canal para inyectar aire, que se extiende longitudinalmente, una serie de cámaras que se pueden inflar, pasos de entrada de aire que interconectan entre sí las cámaras y el canal para inyectar aire, de forma que el aire pueda introducirse en las cámaras a través del canal, y una serie de aberturas de salida que están comunicadas con el canal y permiten que el aire escape de éste.
33. El material laminar de la Reivindicación 32, en el que los pasos de entrada de aire y las abertura de salida se encuentran situados en lados opuestos del canal para inyectar aire.
34. El material laminar de la Reivindicación 32 ó 33, en el que los pasos de entrada de aire y las aberturas de salida están espaciados unos de otros y alineados lateralmente.
35. El material laminar de la Reivindicación 32-34, en el que las aberturas de salida discurren desde el canal para inyectar aire hasta un borde lateral del material laminar.
