EL GEN BOVINO SE DERIVA DE LA TRANSLACION INVERSA DE LA SECUENCIA DE AMINOACIDOS DEL A-FGF, MIENTRAS QUE EL GEN HUMANO SE DERIVA POR MUTACIONES PUNTUALES ESPECIFICAS DEL GEN BOVINO. CADA GEN CONSTRUIDO SE INSERTA EN UN VECTOR DE EXPRESION QUE SE USA PARA TRANSFORMAR UN HUESPED APROPIADO. LAS CELULAS HUESPED TRANSFORMADAS PRODUCEN A-FGF RECOMBINANTE, HUMANO O BOVINO, QUE SE PURIFICA Y TIENE UNA ACTIVIDAD EQUIVALENTE A LA PROTEINA NATIVA.
