Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif (3) pour protéger une jante de roue (2) d'un véhicule à moteur, dans lequel : un côté externe d'un bord de jante (4) est recouvert par le dispositif (3) ; le dispositif (3) comprend un anneau (5), dont le diamètre est adapté à celui du bord de jante (4) ; et l'anneau (5) a une languette circonférentielle (5.2) pour fixer le dispositif (3) au bord de jante (4), laquelle languette peut être serrée entre un côté interne du bord de jante (4) et une paroi latérale d'un pneu (1). Le dispositif (3) est destiné à être maintenu solidement sur la jante de roue (1) même à des vitesses très élevées et à des forces proportionnellement importantes agissant sur le dispositif (3). Aucune modification de la jante de roue (1) n'est nécessaire, et l'installation est simple.
