Das Winkelstück ist wenige mm breit und weist bei der fertig montierten Vorrichtung 3 rechtwinklig so nach innen, dass es kein oder nur ein geringes Spiel zu der radial äußeren Breitseite des Grundkörpers 5.1 aufweist. Der Zierring 12 ist z.B. mittels Kopfschrauben an dem Ring 5 befestigt; alternativ ist das Winkelstück etwas breiter und weist eine Rastnase auf, die in die Nut 5.4 einrastbar ist. Vorrichtung zum Schutz einer Felge (2) eines Kraftfahrzeugs, wobei eine Außenseite eines Felgenhorns (4) von der Vorrichtung (3) bedeckt ist, wobei die Vorrichtung (3) aus einem Ring (5) besteht, dessen Durchmesser auf den des Felgenhorns (4) abgestimmt ist, wobei der Ring (5) zum Befestigen der Vorrichtung (3) an dem Felgenhorn (4) eine umlaufende Zunge (5.1) aufweist, die zwischen einer Innenseite des Felgenhorns (4) und einer Seitenwand eines Reifens (1) einklemmbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der einzige Ring (5) aus einem harten Material gefertigt ist und einen durchgehenden radialen Spalt (6) aufweist, und dass durch den Spalt (6) gebildete Stirnseiten (5.3) des Rings mittels einer Spannschraube (8) verbindbar sind.
