Definitions

  • the invention relates to a frame for a drawer according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a frame of the generic type is from the DE 10 2010 060 722 A1 known.
  • the frame disclosed here has, as a functional device, a connecting fitting which is mounted with a base section on a frame adapter of a frame of a drawer or is formed thereon.
  • a manually operable release lever is articulated on a locking lever and on the base section and extends into a free space in the frame adapter, so that it can be manually actuated by a user in the free space.
  • the frame has proven itself in practice, but requires a relatively large overall width.
  • Such frames are from the DE 20 2005 008 286 U1 and the DE 202 03 551 U1 known.
  • the invention therefore has the object that from DE 20 2005 008 286 U1 known frame with a view to developing a structure.
  • the invention solves this problem by the subject matter of claim 1 and also creates a drawer for a piece of furniture with one or more frames according to one of the claims related thereto.
  • Advantageous embodiments of the invention can be found in the subclaims.
  • a frame for a drawer with a bottom and a rear wall with a width B and at least one such frame the frame having an inner shell and an outer shell attached to the inner shell, with a vertically upper contact area or a gap between the outer shell and the inner shell of a cover strip is covered, wherein the cover strip is formed in one piece or in several pieces and wherein the outer shell has an outer wall section which essentially or completely forms the visible outer wall of the frame on the outer wall side facing away from the drawer bottom, the inner shell being shorter by its width B towards the rear wall than the outer shell and wherein the cover strip is provided with a recess with the width B of the rear wall towards the rear wall.
  • a vertically upper contact area or a gap between the outer shell and the inner shell is covered by a cover strip.
  • this cover strip offers the advantage that it can be used to provide additional optical and functional variants of the frame or frames in a simple manner without the need to fundamentally change the structure of the frame.
  • Different colored and / or differently shaped cover strips can be provided in order to be able to change the design of the frame upwards in a simple manner for the individual customer and / or to be able to easily implement attachments or the like on the frame.
  • the decorative strip complements the inner shell and the outer shell to form a shell that can also be referred to as a three-part shell.
  • the cover strip covers the edges of the outer shell and the inner shell vertically upwards.
  • the cover strips of claim 1 are particularly well - but not only - suitable for such a construction.
  • One of the sliding guides can also be designed as an upper sliding guide and the at least one other of the sliding guides as at least one lower sliding guide between the inner shell and the outer shell and at least the upper sliding guide and / or the at least one lower sliding guide can be one or more between the outer shell and the inner shell has / have guide elements arranged.
  • the frame preferably has a type of elongated housing in the manner of a shell at least with an outer shell and an inner shell, between which a cavity is formed, which is easily accessible in this way.
  • sliding guide means that a first element is slidably guided on a second element and thereby slides directly or indirectly on this.
  • the sliding guide can be formed, for example, by a web of an element that slides on two or three sides, for example in a corner area or in a guide groove of a corresponding element.
  • the guide groove can be formed directly in the inner shell or the outer shell or in a further guide element attached to it.
  • one or more of the upper guide elements is / are formed in one piece with the cover strip. Because in this way two functions - cover and sliding guide - are advantageously integrated into one component. According to another variant, however, it can also be provided that the cover strip is arranged or fastened to one or more of the upper guide elements, in particular is arranged displaceably. The cover strip and one or more of the guide elements are thus formed in one piece as an integral unit or are assembled to form a unit.
  • cover strip is designed as a one-piece element.
  • cover strip is constructed in several pieces.
  • the cover strip is T-shaped in cross section and has a horizontal limb and a vertical limb.
  • Such are the functions of fastening - e.g. by locking the longitudinal leg to another element of the frame - and cover - through the transverse leg - very easy to combine.
  • the cover strip is F-shaped in cross section and has one horizontal limb and two vertical limbs.
  • the second transverse leg can then act as a side cover.
  • the function is preferably the same as for the T-shape explained.
  • the horizontal limb of the cover strip is designed as a cover limb that covers not only a gap or contact area but also a receiving channel of the frame towards the top.
  • the one vertical leg of the cover strip is designed as a cover leg which covers the receiving channel of the frame on one side.
  • cover strip In order to implement the most varied of variants on cover strips, provision can also be made for the cover strip to have a strip base for attachment to the frame which is provided with an upper receiving leg on which a cover strip or a functional strip or a functional element is placed. Refinements of these features are explained below with reference to the figures.
  • the outer shell and / or the inner shell are formed from one or more steel elements, in particular sheet steel.
  • the invention is not restricted to this, but is also basically well suited for inner and outer shells made of other materials, for example made of light metal, in particular aluminum. In the same way as on extruded profiles, webs or grooves cannot be easily formed on sheet steel.
  • the guide elements are therefore particularly advantageous here.
  • the guide elements are made of plastic.
  • one of the sliding guides is designed as an upper sliding guide and the at least one other of the sliding guides is designed as at least one lower sliding guide between the inner shell and the outer shell and that at least the upper sliding guide and / or the at least one lower sliding guide each have one or a plurality of guide elements arranged between the outer shell and the inner shell.
  • the terms “up” and “down” relate to a vertical direction in an installation position the frame on a drawer to a closer - lower - installation position relative to the drawer base and to an upper installation position further spaced from this drawer base.
  • the guide elements are each arranged in a receiving channel formed between the inner shell and the outer shell.
  • the receiving channel is preferably formed from at least three or four walls, with at least one wall projecting above the height of the guide elements. Particularly preferably, two walls running approximately parallel to one another in a vertical alignment to the drawer bottom have the same height.
  • the guide elements are well protected and are optically covered (with regard to the position of use of the drawer with a frame according to the invention on a piece of furniture) by the outer shell and the inner shell in the respective receiving channel.
  • This channel is preferably completely or essentially completely covered by the cover strip towards the top.
  • the guide elements are each attached to the inner shell or to the outer shell and if the respective corresponding element - the outer shell or the inner shell - has a guide groove designed to correspond to the guide element, in the area of which the outer shell or the inner shell on the or the guide elements is slidably guided.
  • the frame has two different lower sliding guides between the inner shell and the outer shell and that both of the lower sliding guides each have one or more of the guide elements arranged between the outer shell and the inner shell. Because in this way, a limited mobility can be realized in the lower area between the inner shell and the outer shell this is sufficient to allow access to functional elements in the interior between the inner shell and the outer shell. In addition, it is possible in this way to position the outer shell and the inner shell very precisely relative to one another.
  • the guide elements of the sliding guides are each attached to the inner shell and / or to the outer shell.
  • one or more sliding and / or positioning means for fastening and / or positioning the attachment element “cover strip” are formed on one or more of the upper guide elements.
  • the at least one upper guide element advantageously takes on a multiple function.
  • sliding guide means are formed on one or more of the upper guide elements, on which the cover strip is displaceably guided with corresponding sliding guide means.
  • the upper guide elements are thus advantageously used both for the function of the sliding guide between the inner and outer shell and for realizing further frame variants with the cover strip, with which, for example, other colors or shapes can be realized on the frame.
  • sliding guide means are formed on the upper guide elements, on which the cover strip is displaceably guided with corresponding sliding guide means.
  • two sliding guides are formed simultaneously on the upper guide rails. This is, on the one hand, the sliding guide between the inner and outer shell and, on the other hand, a sliding guide for the cover strip relative to one of the elements of the inner and outer shell.
  • one type of the lower guide elements is fixed to the inner shell and is directly or indirectly slidably guided on the outer shell and if the other type of lower guide element is fixed to the outer shell and can be moved directly or indirectly to the inner shell is led.
  • the upper and lower guide elements can each be constructed identically or differently from one another. It is then advantageous if the upper and / or the lower guide elements are fastened as a whole to the inner shell or the outer shell. However, embodiments are also advantageously conceivable in which some of the guide elements are attached to the inner shell and some of the guide elements are attached to the outer shell.
  • frames can be realized in which the inner shell and / or the outer shell, preferably made of sheet steel, together form a body which is essentially rectangular in cross section and whose maximum width B 3 is less than 15 mm.
  • Fig. 1 shows a piece of furniture designed as a box furniture 2.
  • the cabinet 2 has a furniture body 3.
  • three drawers 4, 5 are used here - purely by way of example.
  • the drawers 4, 5 are displaceably guided in the furniture carcass 3, so that each of the drawers 4, 5 can be pulled out of the furniture carcass 3 into an open position and can be pushed out of this again into a closed position.
  • the drawer 5 shown has a front panel 6a, which is designed here as a relatively high front panel 6a, for example.
  • the drawer 5 also has two side frames - hereinafter also referred to as frames 1 for short -.
  • the frames 1 are preferably each constructed with two shells.
  • the frame shows a type of elongated housing in the manner of a shell with an outer shell 11 and an inner shell 10.
  • the outer shell 11 is held on the inner shell 10 and is displaceable relative to the latter.
  • the outer shell is preferably held on the inner shell such that it can be displaced to a limited extent.
  • the inner shell 10 includes the outer shell 11 in each case a narrow cavity.
  • inner shell 10 and outer shell 11 does not mean that they have to be constructed in one piece. Instead, the inner shell 10 and the outer shell 11 can in turn be composed of several elements such as sheet metal strips, so that these sheet metal strips interact to form the inner shell and the outer shell 10, 11.
  • the drawer 5 also has a rear wall 12a and a drawer bottom 12b.
  • the outer shell 11 and the inner shell 10 preferably - but not necessarily - consist of sheet metal, in particular sheet steel. But they can also consist of other materials.
  • the inner shell 10 and the outer shell 11 are each made in one piece or in several pieces from one or more sheet metal, in particular made of steel, which have been bent over in sections in a reshaping manner and where recesses and the like may be provided by punching, cutting or the like. are trained.
  • outer shell 11 and the inner shell 10 form a frame with a relatively small, ie "narrow" overall width which (perpendicular to the Fig. 3a ) is preferably less than 15 mm, in particular narrower than 12 mm.
  • the invention can be used to advantage precisely with such narrow frames 1.
  • a plurality of functional devices are arranged on each of the frames 1 and are essentially arranged in the installation space between the outer shell 11 and the inner shell 10. These functional devices include, for example, one or more locking devices and one or more fastening elements.
  • the drawer has at least one, here two connecting fittings 7a, 7b, with which the front panel 6a can be fastened to the frame.
  • each connecting fitting 7a, 7b can be connected to a corresponding locking device 9a, 9b on the left or right of the corresponding frame 1 on the left or right or is connected in the assembled state via a support device 8.
  • the drawer 4 with a low front panel 6b is constructed analogously to the drawer 5 with a high front panel 6a. Differences between the two drawers 4, 5 exist in particular in the height of the front panel 6a and 6b (and possibly the rear wall) and, consequently, in the height of the frames 1, which are correspondingly lower in the drawer 4 with a lower front panel 6b. Accordingly, the frames 1 of the drawer 4 with a low front panel 6b each have only one locking device 9a or 9b.
  • the inner shell 10 is displaceable, preferably to a limited extent, relative to the outer shell 11. (for illustration see for example already Fig. 16 ).
  • the outer shell 11 is designed in one piece.
  • the outer shell 11 also has an outer wall section 13 which essentially or completely forms the visible outer wall of the frame 10 on the outer wall / side facing away from the drawer bottom 12b.
  • the inner shell 10 is here shorter than the outer shell 11 by its width B.
  • a lower edge 14 of this outer wall section 13 is preferably bent over by 180 ° towards the inner shell 10.
  • a channel-like lower guide groove 15 is formed on the outer shell 11 ( Figure 3b ).
  • an upper edge 16 of this outer wall section 13 is preferably also bent over by a total of approximately 180 ° towards the inner shell 10, so that a channel-like upper guide groove 17 is also formed.
  • the upper edge 16 also preferably forms a resilient bend 19 which extends downward from the cover strip section 18. In this way, the upper edge 16 with the cover strip section 18 and the angled portion 19 together form the upper channel-like guide groove 17 on the outer shell 11.
  • the inner shell 10 is designed in two pieces. But it can also be designed in one piece or consist of more than two metal sheets (not shown here).
  • the inner shell 10 has an inner wall section 20 and a container rail 21 fastened to the inner wall section 20 with one or more fastening points, these points being able to be produced by connection methods such as riveting, clinching or welding.
  • On the container rail 21 is / are i.a. one or more of the functional elements explained above. It increases the stability of the respective frame 1 and simplifies assembly.
  • the inner wall section 20 serves, inter alia, to visually cover the frame 1 on the inside - that is to say towards the drawer bottom 12b
  • the upper edge 22 of the inner wall section 20 (and here also that of the container rail) - see Figure 3b - is bent outwards or towards the outer shell 11 in such a way that it lies below the upper guide groove 17 and there forms a support leg 23 in the manner of a traverse.
  • An upper receiving channel K1 is thus formed between the support leg 23 and the inner and outer shell 10, 11 towards the upper edge region.
  • the support leg 23 serves here to fasten one or more first - upper - guide elements 24. These are arranged in the upper receiving channel K1 and are there well protected and optically concealed.
  • the outer shell 11 slides on them. Together with the outer shell 11, they therefore form a first, upper sliding guide S1 (see FIG Figure 3b ).
  • a plurality of the upper guide elements 24 are preferably distributed in a row spaced apart from one another on the support leg 23 of the inner shell 10.
  • the carrying leg 23 and an adjacent wall area of the inner shell 10 form two of the walls of the upper receiving channel K1.
  • the outer shell 11 forms two other walls of this receiving channel K1.
  • the upper receiving channel K1 is thus designed to be closed all around.
  • the upper guide elements 24 are therefore not visible from the outside in their installed position on a drawer.
  • the guide elements 24 can be fixed in a stationary manner in the receiving channel K1, for example with screws or rivets and / or latching means or the like.
  • Preferred - since it is simple and uncomplicated - is an attachment with at least one latching hook 40 or several latching hooks that engage in a latching recess 41 of the carrying leg 23 and / or the container rail 21 ( Figure 3b and 3c ).
  • the upper (and also the further) guide elements 24 each form sliding elements, according to Figure 3b the upper guide elements engage directly in the upper guide groove 17 of the displaceable outer shell 11.
  • the resilient leg rests on the side of the guide elements 24 in a resilient manner.
  • the first - upper - sliding guide S1 is formed between the outer shell 11 and the inner shell 10.

  • One of the longitudinal legs 52 is connected to the cover leg 50 and the other longitudinal leg 52 engages in the groove 17 as the upper sliding guide.
  • cover strip 35-B - and also the other variants of cover strips described in this document - can or can be produced in various ways. They can be designed as an injection molded part or as a cast part or as a cut piece of an extruded profile. They can also be made of a wide variety of materials, in particular plastic or light metal.
  • Fig. 20 a - d show a further variant of a cover strip 35-C.
  • This cover strip 35-C is similar to the cover strip 35-A in terms of the way it is mounted Fig. 13 .
  • the cover strip 35-C also optically closes off the inner shell 10 from the outer shell 11 and thus replaces at least the upper horizontal web 18 of the outer shell 11.
  • the cover strip is provided with a recess towards the rear wall 12a (with the width B of the rear wall 12a ).
  • the cover strip 35-C also offers the advantage, in the manner of a decorative strip, that it can be used to provide further optical and functional variants of the frame or frames in a simple manner without having to fundamentally change the structure of the frame.
  • a fastening is in turn formed between the cover strip 35-C and guide elements 24.
  • This can be designed as a dovetail guide which enables displaceability in the longitudinal direction of the frame and / or clipping in vertical to the longitudinal direction of the frame of the cover strip 35-C on the guide elements 24.
  • the cover strip 35-C itself is constructed in several parts.
  • a strip base 60 is provided for attachment to the guide elements 24.
  • the strip base 60 is T-shaped in cross section here and has a lower, here vertical fastening foot 61 and an upper, here horizontal, receiving leg 62.
  • the receiving leg 62 is designed in such a way that a cover strip 63 can be placed on it.
  • This cover strip 63 is actually the element that is visible to the outside.
  • the cover strip 63 can in turn be coated with a cover film 64 ( Figure 20c ), for example with a self-adhesive cover film 64.
  • a fastening is formed between the cover strip 63 and the horizontal receiving leg 62.
  • This attachment can have an adhesive film 65, preferably a double-sided adhesive strip 65, which is arranged between the receiving leg 62 and the cover strip 63.
  • the cover strip 63 can be attached to the horizontal receiving leg 62 in a simple and compact manner.
  • other types of attachment of the cover strip 63 to the horizontal receiving leg 62 are also conceivable, such as snap-in connections or the like.
  • this selected structure ensures particularly numerous possibilities for providing the most varied of variants of these cover strips 35-C with simple means in order to give the respective frame a preferred appearance.
  • the strip base 60 is not changed for this purpose.
  • the different variants can be implemented solely by preselecting or, if necessary, by changing the cover strip 63.
  • the cover strip 63 can have a rectangular cross-section. However, it can also have a wide variety of other cross-sections, such as a cross-section rounded at the top (not shown).
  • the cover strip 63 can in turn consist of a wide variety of materials, in particular also of those that would in themselves be less suitable for fastening directly to the frame, but which offer a particularly attractive appearance.
  • the cover strip 63 then consists of a wood material or a wood substitute material. However, it can also be made of a plastic or metal or, for example, consist of ceramic.
  • cover strips 35 are characterized in that the respective cover strip 35 is used to implement one or more additional functions. Variants of this embodiment show Figs. 21-23 .
  • a first of the variants illustrate the Figures 21a-g .
  • a cover strip 35-D to be provided with a first guide means 70 on which an attachment strip 71 with a corresponding second guide means 72 can be placed.
  • the cover strip 35-D is basically similar to the cover strip 35 from here Fig. 13 formed and arranged analogously on the frame. However, it has the first guide means 70.
  • the first guide means 70 can be designed as a groove or a web in the main direction of extent of the strips 35-D and 71 and the corresponding second guide means 72 on the attachment strip 71 corresponding to the first guide means 70 as a web or groove. These two guide means together form a sliding guide.
  • a functional element can be attached to the attachment strip or it can be molded directly onto it.
  • the functional element is placed on the attachment strip 71.
  • the functional element can be designed as an add-on drawer 73.
  • the top drawer is then preferably connected to two side frames 100, each with one of the base strips 71, which can each be placed on one of the two side frames of a drawer. If the frame length of the top drawer is smaller than that of the frame on which it is placed, it can be moved to a limited extent on these two frames.
  • the top drawer can be designed in one piece with the base strips and can consist of plastic, for example. This configuration is not shown here. However, it can also be constructed in several parts and, in particular with regard to the frames, be constructed like the drawer on which it is placed. It is then only shorter than the lower drawer in its direction of movement or insertion direction. These variants show the Fig. 21 a) to g) . In this way, the top drawer 73 is optically well matched to the drawer on which it is attached.
  • the attachment strip 71 engages at the bottom in the frame 100 of the attachment drawer 73, for example is clamped and / or latched.
  • the top drawer has two side frames 100, which are each placed in this way on the lower frames of the lower “main drawer” 4. It can also preferably have a base 101, a rear wall 102 and a front panel 103 ( Figure 21e ).
  • Fig. 22 a shows a side view of a section of a drawer with a frame with a structure with inner shell, outer shell and a cover strip 35-E, on which a drawer inner insert 74 is formed as a functional element.
  • the cover strip is essentially like that of the Fig. 13 formed and here like this can be mounted on the frame.
  • the inner drawer insert 74 adjoins the cover strip 35-E at the side. It can be molded to this.
  • one of the cover strips 35-E is formed on each side of the inner drawer insert.
  • the two cover strips 35-E can be integral with the inner drawer insert 74 be formed.
  • the inner drawer insert 74 can be designed to be placed in the drawer in a vertical placement movement. However, it can also be provided that it can then be pivoted into its end position together with one. Such a configuration shows Fig. 23 .
  • the inner drawer insert 74 can be easily mounted in this way. It can have one or more internal dividing means. E.g. have one or more walls 75 which divide it into compartments 76.
  • the attachment strip 35-F has an F-shape with two vertical legs 85, 86 and one horizontal leg 87.
  • the horizontal leg 87 forms the actual optical closure of the frame towards the top.
  • One vertical leg 86 is used to fix it to one of the plurality of guide elements 24, for example also to that extent Fig. 13 described.
  • the in Fig. 13 shown attachment strip 35-A has a T-shape. This T-shape is in the embodiment of Fig. 24 supplemented by the second vertical leg 86.
  • the further vertical limb 86 of the attachment strip 35-F directly replaces an upper section of the inner wall, in particular the inner shell 10, of the frame, so that overall, with this vertical limb, an upper receiving channel K1 is formed in a simple manner, which is essentially closed around the circumference, except for gaps is.
  • the attachment strip 35-G is again F-shaped. Your two vertical legs 88, 89 are arranged on the frame.
  • An upper sliding guide is not provided or is implemented completely independently of the attachment strip 35-G with guide elements not shown here.
  • the attachment strip 35-G can be attached to the frame 1 in various ways - for example, by means of an adhesive or a snap-in mechanism. It forms an attractive upper optical closure of the frame 1. It again has an F-shape with two vertical legs 88, 89 and the horizontal leg 87, the two vertical legs 88, 89 being directed downwards towards the frame and being able to rest on it.
