Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wet cleaning device, in particular a wet mop, with a rotatably mounted around a roll axis cleaning roller and a cleaning roller in the circumferential direction at least partially surrounding roller cover, which has at least one displaceable cover element for Wähl wise closing and / or opening an opening portion of the roller cover ,
  • DE 102 29 611 B3 discloses, for example, a wet cleaning device with a rotating about a rotation axis driven wiping body in which a cleaning liquid is removed from a storage tank and sprayed by means arranged in the direction of the axis of rotation of the wiper body spray nozzles on the surface of the wiper body.
  • the wiper body moistened in this way is guided over a surface to be cleaned during a wiping operation, wherein the wiper body absorbs dirt from the surface to be cleaned.
  • the wiper body is lifted from the surface to be cleaned, surrounded by a housing and sprayed with fresh cleaning liquid.
  • the wiping body rotates, so that cleaning liquid and dirt are removed from the wiper body. be driven out, hit the inside of the housing and be transferred to a collection container for contaminated liquid.
  • the displaceable cover element has a storage volume-providing collecting device, in particular a collecting container, for collecting liquid remaining within the roller cover.
  • a lifting device is now arranged on the displaceable cover element, into which the liquid remaining inside the roller cover can flow.
  • the liquid flows during a displacement of the cover member from a closed position of the cover member in an open position of the cover element of gravity following an inner wall of the cover member along towards the catcher, where the liquid is collected and thus can not drip off the roller cover.
  • the collecting device is designed in the manner of a collecting container.
  • the collecting container may have a single chamber or a plurality of chambers in which the liquid is collected.
  • the free volume of the chamber or the chambers determines the storage volume of the collecting device, that is, the amount of liquid that can be received in the collecting device.
  • the collecting device can be formed in one piece with the cover element, for example in the form of a common injection-molded part.
  • the catcher can be arranged as a separately manufactured element on the cover element, for example by joining techniques such as gluing, welding, snap-in and the like, giving priority to such fastening methods which provide a fluid-tight connection between the cover element and the catcher.
  • the collecting device is offset radially inwardly disposed on a facing to the cleaning roller inner wall of the cover member.
  • the collecting device is thus located directly in the flow path of the liquid, which flows along the inner wall of the cover element.
  • the collecting device is located in the circumferential direction of the cover element at that end region of the cover element which, in a fully opened state of the roller cover, represents a lowest point of the cover element displaced into the open position. This ensures that the liquid can not escape from the catcher but is trapped in an upright container.
  • the radial width of the catcher is less than the radial distance between the cleaning roller and the cover member so that the cover member can be displaced without the catcher rubbing against the cleaning roller.
  • the collecting device may have a radial width of a few millimeters, for example 5 mm to 10 mm, wherein a radial free space of preferably at least 2 mm should remain between the collecting device and the cleaning roller. te, to absorb changes in the diameter of the cleaning roller, for example due to centrifugal force-dependent deformations.
  • the collecting device is adapted to receive a liquid amount of up to 30 ml.
  • a capacity of the catcher of up to 30 ml is sufficient to be able to safely hold the residual liquid remaining in the roll cover after a regeneration process of the cleaning roller.
  • usually not the entire available amount of liquid of the wet cleaning device is used at one time for moistening the cleaning roller. Therefore, that portion of the liquid which does not reach a collecting tank for dirty liquid during the spin-off from the cleaning roller during the regeneration operation is usually only a very small fraction of the total liquid quantity. Therefore, if the collecting device can absorb up to 30 ml of liquid, possibly even less, for example only 20 ml or only 10 ml, dripping is reliably prevented.
  • the collecting device has an opening which precedes the storage volume in an opening direction of the roll cover.
  • the catching device which is preferably designed as a collecting container, thus has an opening which, during the displacement of the cover element, also moves in such a way that the opening in the open position of the cover element (relative to a vertical) is arranged above the storage volume. This ensures that the liquid can not leave the catcher.
  • the opening can again reach below a level of the storage volume, so that liquid ability to escape from the collecting device on the inner wall of the cover member.
  • the opening of the collecting device could also lag part of the storage volume (relative to the opening direction).
  • the opening of the collecting device is a channel, a liquid line or the like associated net, which opens into a collecting container for contaminated liquid.
  • the catcher in both cases may also have a plurality of openings, which may also be arranged at different height levels.
  • the collecting device be formed along the entire axial longitudinal extent of the cover element.
  • the collecting device it is particularly easy, equally liquid, which is along the entire axial length of the roller cover on the inner wall of the cover member or the entire roller cover, equally optimally lead into the collecting device. It is thus not necessary to provide further remplisstechniksleit Surpriseen on the inner wall of the cover member, which direct the liquid to the collecting device. Rather, the fluid located on the inner wall of gravity always follows in an opening of the opening portion of the roller cover in the catcher. Dropping of liquid from the roll cover is thus effectively prevented over the entire axial length of the roll cover.
  • the collecting device be formed in the circumferential direction of the cover element over an angle section of 30 ° to 90 °.
  • the proposed size of the angle section of 30 ° to 90 ° is particularly suitable for cover elements which can be displaced by approximately 180 ° in order to selectively open or close the opening region.
  • the liquid flows at standstill of the cleaning roller to the lowest point within the roller cover.
  • the collecting device should preferably not be arranged exactly there, since liquid dripping vertically downwards from the cleaning roller drips onto an outer wall of the collecting device and from there can then reach a freshly cleaned surface during a subsequent opening of the opening region.
  • the catching device covers only 30 ° to 90 ° of a peripheral portion of the cover element, there is a sufficient angle section which remains free for the dripping off of liquid next to the catching device. It is particularly advisable that the collecting device is not arranged vertically under the cleaning roller when the roller cover is closed, but is offset by an angle, for example relative to an angle between a vertical direction and a plane, into which the opening of the collecting device is arranged, preferably at least 30 °.
  • the wet cleaning device has at least one catching device which is arranged on the cover element with respect to an axial direction.
  • the liquid remaining inside the roll cover is collected in an end catcher of the cover member.
  • the cover element has at both axial end sides th a collecting device.
  • the collecting device may be arranged on or in a part of the roller cover fixed to the housing of the wet cleaning device or on or in the device housing, instead of on the cover element itself.
  • each of the collecting devices may preferably accommodate a quantity of liquid of up to 15 ml, so that the total amount of liquid that can be received is up to 30 ml.
  • the collecting device or the collecting devices can be detachably arranged on the cover element or the roller cover in the manner of an end cap. This makes it possible to remove the collecting device from the wet cleaning device, so that the collecting device can be easily cleaned by a user of the wet cleaning device, in particular to remove dirt deposits from time to time.
  • an inner wall of the cover element has a feed ramp which is inclined relative to a horizontal and extends, in particular, from a center of an axial longitudinal extent of the cover element to the end catcher, which is designed such that liquid located inside the roll cover is guided in a subsequent displacement of the cover member in an opening direction of gravity in the end-side collecting device.
  • the pitch of the feed ramp refers to an orientation of the feed ramp at a lowest point of the roll cover, which is arranged in the closed position of the roll cover in the vertical direction immediately under the cleaning roller.
  • the cover member at both axial end sides of a catcher it is recommended that the cover element has two feed ramps, which are arranged mirror-symmetrically to a plane which runs in the middle of the roll axis perpendicular to the roll axis.
  • the liquid flowing along the inner wall of the cover element can thus reach one of the collecting devices independently of the axial starting position on the inner wall. In a position of the cover member in which the feed ramp is located at a lowest point of the cover member, the liquid may flow to the feed ramp and from there on rotation of the cover member and the feed ramp into the catcher.
  • the collecting device has a drain opening, which is connectable by rotation of the cover member in the opening direction with a collecting container, so that collected in the collecting liquid in the collecting container can be transferred.
  • the liquid is thus initially collected in the collecting device and discharged only when the roller cover is open through the discharge opening, because - at the latest then - is connected to the collecting container.
  • the liquid is thus initially conducted inside the covering element via the feed ramp into the collecting device, remains there during the further displacement of the cover element from the closed position to the open position and finally upon reaching the opening position through the drain opening transferred to the collection container for contaminated liquid.
  • the catcher when the roller cover is reopened for a next wiping operation, the catcher is deflated and liquid can no longer drip from the roller cover onto a surface to be cleaned or freshly cleaned.
  • the principle of operation that the collecting device first receives and stores the liquid and then transferred to a collecting container may be provided regardless of whether the collecting device along the entire longitudinal extent of the cover element is arranged or alternatively in an axial end portion of the cover element.
  • the cover element or the roller cover has both in the axial direction and at the end formed collecting devices, which are interconnected by channels, fluid lines and the like and can be emptied into a collecting container via a common drain opening.
  • the cover element is displaceable relative to the roll axis by at least 130 °, preferably by 135 ° to 180 °.
  • This proposed pivoting range of the cover element is sufficient, on the one hand, to be able to open the roller cover sufficiently for a displacement of the cleaning roller onto a surface to be cleaned and, on the other hand, to be able to collect fluid flowing in the collecting device in the direction of a lowest point of the roller cover or the cover element.
  • wet cleaning device is to be understood as meaning in particular such devices which permit a wet cleaning exclusively or, among other things.
  • these include on the one hand, the hand-held and automatically movable wet cleaning equipment, especially cleaning robot, and on the other combined dry and wet cleaning equipment, which can perform both a wet cleaning and a dry cleaning.
  • conventional floor cleaning equipment for cleaning a floor and wet cleaning equipment meant for cleaning overground surfaces.
  • cleaning devices for windows, cleaning shelves, stairs and the like are examples of cleaning devices for windows, cleaning shelves, stairs and the like.
  • Fig. 1 shows an inventive wet cleaning device
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a cleaning roller with a surrounding roller cover
  • FIG. 3 shows the roller cover according to FIG. 2 in a closed position
  • FIG. 7 shows the roller cover according to FIG. 2 separately
  • FIG. 8 shows a displaceable cover element of the roller cover according to an alternative embodiment
  • FIG. 1 shows a wet cleaning device 1, which is designed here as a dampening wiper device with a base device 13 and an attachment 14.
  • a handle 16 is arranged with a handle 17, by means of which a user can perform the wet cleaning device 1 on a surface to be cleaned.
  • the handle 16 is advantageously made telescopic, so that a user can adjust the height of the wet cleaning device 1 to its body size.
  • the user shifts the wet cleaning device 1 in a back and forth movement over the surface to be cleaned, where he alternately pushes away the wet cleaning device 1 and pulls out to himself.
  • the attachment 14 has a device housing 12, in which a tank (not shown) is arranged for cleaning fluid. Via a filler neck 15, liquid can be filled into the tank.
  • a cleaning roller 3 is further arranged, which is rotatable about a roll axis 2.
  • the roll axis 2 is substantially perpendicular to a conventional direction of movement of the wet cleaning device 1.
  • the liquid can be discharged from the tank onto the surface of the cleaning roller 3 to moisten it.
  • the cleaning roller 3 rotates about the roller axis 2, so that the peripheral surface of the cleaning roller 3 rolls continuously on the surface to be cleaned.
  • the cleaning roller 3 is usually wrapped with a cleaning pad, optionally with the interposition of an additional fluid-storing sponge body.
  • the cleaning pad is here, for example, a textile cleaning cloth.
  • dirt constantly accumulates on the cleaning roller 3, that is to say the cleaning surface. Therefore, after a certain period of operation, a regeneration of the cleaning roller 3 may be required, wherein during a regeneration operation dirt and contaminated liquid are removed from the cleaning roller 3.
  • the cleaning roller 3 is usually rotated at a speed which is higher than the speed of the cleaning roller 3 during a wiping operation. This results in a spill of dirt and liquid acted upon by dirt from the cleaning roller 3.
  • the sprayed liquid can be collected and fed to a collecting container.
  • Figure 2 shows a portion of the device housing 12 of the attachment 14, in which the cleaning roller 3 is held rotatably about the roller axis 2.
  • the roll axis 2 simultaneously forms an axis of rotation for a displaceable cover element 5 of a roll cover 4, which surrounds the cleaning roll 3 in the circumferential direction.
  • the cover member 5 can be displaced relative to a fixed part of the roller cover 4 in an opening portion 6 of the roller cover 4 in order to close the roller cover 4 in the circumferential direction of the cleaning roller 3 preferably completely.
  • the closed position shown in Figure 2 of the cover member 5 and the roller cover 4 corresponds to the position during a regeneration operation of the wet cleaning device 1, in which dirt and liquid are thrown off the cleaning roller 3 and transferred to a collection container.
  • the cover member 5 is displaced from the opening portion 6 of the roller cover 4, so that the cleaning roller 3 can be displaced out of the roller cover 4 in the direction of a surface to be cleaned.
  • a drive motor and a transmission are provided, which cause the displacement of the cover element 5 and possibly also the cleaning roller 3 (not shown).
  • a regeneration operation of the wet cleaning apparatus 1 is initiated so that the cover member 5 is displaced until the cleaning roller 3 is completely housed in the circumferential direction of the roller cover 4. Subsequently, the cleaning roller 3 is greatly accelerated, optionally with the prior or simultaneous addition of liquid. Due to the high speed of the cleaning roller 3, which should be higher than the rotational speed of the cleaning roller 3 during a wiping operation, the liquid including dirt is ejected from the cleaning roller 3.
  • a stripping device 19 may be provided, which contacts the surface of the cleaning roller 3 and additionally supports the regeneration. The rotation of the cleaning roller 3 simultaneously causes a flow of ambient air, which supports the transport of the liquid and the dirt in the direction of a collecting channel 18. Overall, thus an optimal regeneration result is achieved.
  • the roller cover 4 is opened again by displacing the cover element 5 in the opening direction r about the roller axis 2 and the cleaning roller 3 can emerge from the device housing 12 and come into contact with a surface to be cleaned.
  • residual liquid which was not transferred into the collecting channel 18 during the regeneration operation, flows along an inner wall 7 of the cover element 5 to a respective current lowest point of the roller cover 4 or the cover element 5
  • An end region of the cover element 5, which is adjacent to the opening region 6 of the roller cover 4 has a collecting device 8, which is designed here as a collecting container, which is arranged radially offset inwards starting from the inner wall 7.
  • the collecting device 8 provides a storage volume for the liquid to be picked up.
  • an amount of liquid of 20 ml can be taken here. Since after a regeneration operation of the cleaning roller 3 usually only liquid quantities of a few milliliters remain within the roller cover 4, the collecting device 8 is large enough to be able to absorb this amount of liquid.
  • FIG. 3 show the cover element 5 of the roller cover 4 starting from a closed position (FIG. 3) during a displacement in the direction of an open position (FIG. 6).
  • FIG. 3 the cover element 5 is in the closed position, in which the roller cover 4 completely surrounds the cleaning roller 3 in the circumferential direction.
  • a regeneration operation of the wet cleaning device 1 is completed and a large part of the liquid of the cleaning roller 3 is transferred into the collecting channel 18. Only a small proportion of residual liquid (not shown to scale in the figures) remains within the roller cover 4 and collects in accordance with gravity at a lowest point on the inner wall 7 of the cover element. 5.
  • the collecting device 8 arranged on the cover element 5 is in the closed position of the cover element 5, with respect to a vertical direction, completely above the lowest point in which the liquid and possibly dirt have collected.
  • the collecting device 8 is here (not shown in the sectional view shown) along the entire longitudinal extension of the cleaning roller 3 is formed. In the circumferential direction, the collecting device 8 extends over an angle section ⁇ of the cover element 5, which occupies approximately 45 °. This corresponds to a quarter of the angular area occupied by the entire cover element 5, which is 180 ° here.
